Basically the title. Seems like most of these threads are full of salty former employees who were laid off 10 years ago and are basically just here to root for it to fail. How many of you actually currently work at intel?

No need root for IntEL to FaIl they do an excellent job by themselves. It’s like watching a train wreck without closing your eyes.
You guys if not working at Intel then relax and enjoy fruit of your decisions. Let others deal with what’s coming based on current employees from Intel.

I decided to leave a couple of years ago after Pat decided that, rather than pay for severance, he was going to destroy employee morale to such a degree that people simply wouldn't want to work there anymore.
It worked - Intel turned in to Office Space in a matter of months. The brain-drain became a serious issue pretty quickly when tons of Engineers and Technicians, who weren't looking at huge potential severance packages, decided to take their knowledge and experience elsewhere.
What remained was a bunch of 20-30 years veterans who were used to handing their work off to the folks who just walked out the door....And now the veterans are taking VSP lol
The place became toxic to the point that I decided to find something else before the inevitable happens.
I don't know how the he-l they expect to compete when so much talent and institutional knowledge has already walked out the door.....
I hope they don’t layoff my coworkers that get copied on other peoples status reports and take credit for their work to pretend they do work. That would be so many people.
People on this site are truly not all of them working at Intel. They write whatever comes or hear in their mind that create false rumors (not all of them). Seeing others in pain with what’s going, give them sense of satisfaction of getting out from intel before.
I left almost four years ago. With the slip if Sapphire Rapids and the new CEO it felt like it was time to bail. Almost took an offer to come back last winter for IFS. Put a lot of work and love into Intel. Sad to see it struggle.
Been checking this board the past week as I’ve heard from some old friends that things may get bad soon.

Completely uncompetitive in servers.
Client under siege.
No IFS customers for 18A.
Cash flow negative until at least 2027.
Chronic brain drain and poor management.
It seems like people don’t want to accept the reality of Intel’s precarious position.
It’s BAD whether you root for it or not.
