I worry about any customer facing employee and also the employees in call centers - the centers have large open spaces, with people sitting very close to each other. The company should look at moving as many call center workers to home based as soon as possible.

I’m not touching any customer nor their phone and keeping a distance and telling them why. My health, your family’s health and even the customers health is more important than a survey.

Most states have declared a State of Emergency if not all soon. DC is shutting down, NBA is suspended the rest of the season. Schools and other business are closing left and right. If Verizon does not do something to help stop spreading this deadly virus we need to all stop coming to work and plan to sue. Our health is just as important!

Again Verizon is a reactive company not a proactive company. The retail locations are toxic environments. For example yesterday one our Solution Mgrs was giving his expert medical opinion that Corvid 19 was no more than a mild flu and only affected the older generation. I promptly told him that 58% percent of the people in Italy that had it were under the age of 60 and since it's unclear its affect on different people? Where do get these unprofessional people from?We had a woman walk in her PJs yesterday, the rep wouldn't shake her hand( for obvious reasons) she became offended. Bad Ris score! Yes! The rep will coached. I'm sure if you work the front line you could write a book.

A customer came in requesting to upgrade to a new iPhone. I inquired which model, color, and memory size she was looking for and explained that the reason I asked is that some models are in stock while others have to be shipped or are on backorder due to supply and distribution issues related to China and the coronavirus. She replied "What does that have to do with anything?"

Verizon won’t do anything for us. At least not in the retail channel. They claim they care about their “employee experience” but when it comes down to it it’s all about the mighty dollar. Who cares if some employees get sick, or even if they spread it to their families as long as Verizon gets theirs. Stores will stay open regardless

When I worked in a store you wouldn't believe all the sick people that would come into the store half dead with the flu or another contagious illness that made employees sick. These people don't care about anyone but themselves and corona won't stop them from coming to the stores. If Hans and his team have any decency or just want to avoid possible lawsuits they should make plans to close stores and call centers for 2 to 3 weeks to under go deep cleaning and to help stop the spread of this deadly virus. Or all of us need to boycott going to work until they do.

@1krc+13VS0hVS fully agree and I hope they aren't as narrow minded to not shut the stores down. They put so much faith in online. Now is the time to shine for them anyways. The people that come into stores are more often gross then not. Also what if im giving the virus to people.

Retail stores need to close for the next 2-3 weeks.

All customers essential needs can be fulfilled online or via phone by customer service. Unfortunately, the people who still want to come into the retail stores are exactly the type of people who will come into the stores sick because they have the "everyone is overreacting cause its just the flu" mentality.

Peoples lives are at stake, I repeat, peoples lives are at stake. Verizon needs to get serious and be the first provider to take emergency steps to help prevent the spread of this virus.

It should speed up HBA plans. There is no reasons for call centers to be opened when they can send reps home less possiblity
to be exposed to the virus.
