Don’t be surprised if you see a full RTO (at a minimum hybrid and no more WFH) coming out soon. Minimum 2 days a week. As long as they make you hybrid, they also get to revoke your wfh stipend.

This thread is proof that the union steward is the RTO clown. He uses unions tactics in weak arguments and resorts to scare tactics when backed into a corner. I bet anything he’s a tech, like others have said.

Cool, you can be in the lobby handing out coffee and donuts while the rest of us are at home working for 90 minutes beforehand daily.
Now that the real studies are coming in (not just biased self reporting) showing how much lower productivity and engagement is for remote employees, not only will prior office workers return, those who have been remote for years should be concerned too. It’s causing companies to completely reconsider any and all remote positions.

Not enough real estate to require every one to RTO. Been remote since 2012, prior to covid, obviously. Permanent due to the sale of buildings. Also, parking issues already with RTO not to mention desk space.
It’s manipulation from someone in the union. Clearly anti union so I bet it’s a tech stirring the pot. It makes poor arguments like the union does as well, that makes me think they’re a steward.
The stipend was only given where mandatory. It was like 3 states, and only $50/month.
WFH in this company has always existed as some of us like myself have been doing this since 2004. So WFH isn't going away, thanks troll. Another uninformed post.
Full time RTO is coming back by the end of 1st quarter ‘25. Enjoy it while you can or take the VSP..

@ybn+1t9lShaS the silly argument you make about being "fully" remote doesn't mean anything. Sales gets their modules, customers, territory shifted all the time. Ops gets their assignments change, even HR gets their employees coverage reassigned according to the need of thr business. Not union here, but maybe you should look for another job with your high and mighty claims

I was hired fully remote. I worried more about my household duties when in an office than at home. Also, our numbers are FAR superior to when in the office.
You lie and you are part of the union most likely. You use the same lies, same poor arguments, and same low class way of presenting a topic.
Numbers don’t lie. WFH is the best thing to happen to Verizon.
Let’s get everyone’s head back in the game. No wondering about dinner, kids, lawn. You were hired to go into the office everyday. Count these past years as a blessing, being able to work from your basement. Now is the time to RTO.
