@1acy, um, there's no reason to be in the office, Einstein.

@1enj+1gz1vVte so you don't have a reason to work?

@1lxh, it would be more like saying you have to drive a car for no reason AND you have to wear a seatbelt 24x7 for the rest of your life.

@1hcy+1gz1vVte That's like saying if you have to wear seatbelts to ride or drive in a car it's too dangerous and you should not drive. Get a grip. Life is now moving on.

No one is saying anyone deserved to die. They are saying there is personal responsibility as well. There is a strange new liver illness impacting (and ki----g) children and experts believe it's a direct result of the COVID lockdowns. If the kids, who are fairly safe from Covid (anecdotes aside, children do not die from Covid), were allowed to continue their day-to-day lives, they could have developed a better immunity to COVID (natural immunity is better than vaccines) and would not have developed this liver disease. The fact so many people refuse to see the truth is astounding. If you went to your doctor and he told you that you needed to lose weight or you could develop diabetes or cardiac disease, would you blame him for your issue? Apparently, most of you would.

Well, when a company forces you to come into the office because it's perfectly safe, but requires you to get vaccinated because it's so dangerous, it shouldn't be difficult to show negligence. Typical Charlie logic.

They probably have the same amount you do when said people die of heart disease. $600k+ every year. There's no free lunch when it comes to your health. Abuse your body and it will fail. That was true before COVID and still is. People are free to live how they choose, but nature is a heartless and merciless wench. Do high risk things at your own peril. That said, people were born to be free, and free people don't need sympathy. They should be celebrated for a life well lived.

Gotta love how some people posting here see no value in the lives of those who are older, overweight and/or have co-morbidities and how they have no remorse 🙄

It is common sense that our elders and those with serious health conditions have a lesser chance of serving an illness or serious injury than whose who are young and strong. But that doesn’t mean they should be blamed for being exposed to a contagious illness or a dangerous situation. My elderly uncle passed because he was exposed to pneumonia by a sick neighbor who came to his home. I don’t think my uncle deserved to die because he was elderly. He would not have died at that time if it were not for the sick neighbor exposing him.

@esu+1gz1vVte the old familiar fallback when a person doesn't have an argument - cry racism. If you didn't know, white people, black people, asian people, and latin people can all be obese. I think this shows your racism more than the poster's. You apparently only think black people are obese.

The racist reactionary anti-masker definitely understands science.

@ipt+1gz1vVte it's 'telling' that it's not about the science. If it was about the science, people would not be downvoting the post someone posted regarding the man's weight. It's easier to stick their fingers in their ears and scream at people not wearing masks and blame everyone else for why the guy died.

What, may I ask, is that “telling” you?

you can live a long and normal life with diabetes but throw covid into the mix on top of that and your risk of death goes up exponentially

It's quite telling that all the experts telling us to wear masks (which have been ineffective) and get vaccinated refuse to acknowledge that the majority (over 90%) of deaths involved those 65 of age or older or had other comorbidities (diabetes, obesity, cardiac, pulmonary).

Fact of the matter is that Wells Fargo was slow to get their act together when Covid first began. Employees were, and still are, packed in tight in Call Centers and back office operations areas. As I speak, I am no more than 2 feet from the person on my left and 2 feet from the person on my right. We can not move desks in my department because each desktop is specific to the employee. Furthermore, there is no rationale regarding employee spacing when they put out the monthly 3 day RTO schedule.

I hope that mother wins her lawsuit against WFC.

But it's still an expensive hassle. All the time and documentation for companies to deal with plus legal costs. Every suit still requires investigation.

You actually can prove where you got the virus from. That is how they sequence the virus but that is assuming you have evidence/samples to use. It’s not impossible but unlikely.

Nobody can prove where it was actually caught so it will go nowhere. It's been tried and failed before.
