Considering between Workplace, Workday and Teamworks, I could be at any of 3 different addresses. How the heck will they know where to look if one of the locations blows up?
This is nuts! How does anyone even know where they're supposed to be?

Workday should be considered the system of record. Teamworks is screwed up b/c of moving to workday and it using the global address list (as far as I know). Workplace should be considered nonsense at this point. Would be nice if we could get our act together on addresses.
"most Managers are just as much in the dark as all of us."
Except for the ones that visit this website!
Everything is so complicated and unorganized. Gotta love how your manager refers you to your resources, then the resources refer you to your manager.
@1meq sweet, just in time for the current model to be completely outdated.

Many banks run hogan. They are all moving forward with other tech but hogan remains in their systems as well.
Every major bank virtualized their primary data enters and replicated them to other geographical regions well over a decade ago. We are expected to complete the same by 2030. Our platforms were too old, too proprietary and archaic to jump 30 years. Our technology has been so mismanaged that simple migrations are hard and difficult migrations are all but impossible. Our mainframe runs a 50 year old Hogan system.
I am surprised that our regulators are not dismantling our products and selling them to Fintechs.
@hak not 100% true, they care if they're liable.
Huh?
Continuity is much more dynamic now. Will be more so once the virtual solution goes full prod. Environments can be stood up in less than a few hours, and since we don’t own our desktop equipment - or employees provide their own, that cost decreases too.
@ygt+1g58lUiV - “Talk to your Manager for more information.” is a common refrain, but most Managers are just as much in the dark as all of us.
The funny thing is Wells expects me to keep working if SHTF.
Really trying to find new things to whine about
Managers are responsible for knowing where their EEs are. Not sure many know exactly day to day ….but…that’s the documented answer
They don’t care if you catch covid and they definitely don’t care about human casualties if something happens in a building.
