I think everyone on the call heard the same thing I heard. Selecting someone for diversity is discrimination. It was said loud and clear. I am not sure why Chevron had that article pulled. It should be an open discussion and if discrimination is happening, we need to talk about it.

@1mfp is right, site mods are the only ones who can nuke posts and they do that if one of the site rules is violated. Personal identifiable info, racism, using derogatory language towards individuals or groups is not allowed here. They also don’t allow direct advertising, discussing politics or religion.
I continue to be amazed that people think Chevron controls what stays and what goes on this site. I think you give them far too much credit. Every site has built in triggers that flag posts for moderators who ultimately decide what stays or goes. This one is no different than the rest of them, Workplace included.
Agree. Plus this is a topic that should stay in this layoff site as this process will determine who gets let go and therefore should be discussed/understood. But, likely this post will be taken down as execs think only they can talk about it but the employees cannot.
