Thoughts from those of you fully vaccinated and still got COVId. Interested with how it will play out for RTO seeing they think the vaccinated have a super shield around them

No it doesn’t. Death rates for people with pre-existing conditions were level pre, during and post COVID.
Covid is here to stay. It’s a money maker. Learn to adapt. This is the new normal.
with all these cov deaths the social security fund gets healthier and healthier. by me if all the non vax die the sooner the better. a brighter retirement for the rest of us who make it to it
I see the social media thought police fraudsters are actively rigging the up/down buttons and censoring facts again! Welcome to the United Socialist States of America!
One of the few universally agreed upon scientific facts is that masks absolutely do NOT do anything to prevent exposure from someone who may be symptomatic or asymptomatic
Medical PPE such as N95 masks actually do perform this function very well. He ones that we’ve see virtually everyone wear for a few years now are absolutely useless for this purpose, although they do limit the damage which you may cause to others.
N95s are relatively inexpensive and easy to find for hose who want actual protection. We buy them 10 at a time and wear when needed.
I haven’t had the flu in 18 years, coincidentally that was the last time I got the flu shot
COVID is so over.
Natural immunity did a great job with the Black Plague. After all only half of the population of Europe had died by the time it was over. Without any natural immunity they all would have died. Without any Europeans there would never have been 'Murica. Natural immunity made America! F-Yeah!
To the apparent immunologist who brought up "natural immunity, I'll pose these questions. How well did "natural immunity" work against smallpox before Edward Jenner developed his vaccine? How well did "natural immunity" work against polio before Jonas Salk's vaccine? How well did "natural immunity" work on any of the diseases that there are now vaccines for? Forget vaccinations though. How well does your "natural immunity" work on influenza, the common cold, ebola, hantavirus or novovirus?
An the excuse for ignoring natural immunity?
What the CDC and medical pros have been saying has been quite clear: if you get the vaccine, you are not 100 percent protected. But it’s unlikely you will end up in the hospital and extremely unlikely you will die.
The science is not that difficult to grasp.
I don’t know anyone who has been vaccinated who has suffered serious side effects or contracted COVID.
I do know unvaxxed people who have gotten sick, been hospitalized and died.
Your call.
I do not wear a mask in my home. I wear it in public to prevent exposure from someone who may be asymptomatic.
I'm sure most of us who are vaccinated and "got covid" didn't even know it. THAT is why I got vaxed.
“Also no one has ever said that any vaccination automatically confers 100% immunity from any disease.“

Ummm. The tv was telling us this constantly it would be very rare until all of these suppose a breakthrough cases started happening…
I don’t know anybody that gets chickenpox?
So you wear a mask in your own home around your kid? 🤦♂️
I am vaccinated and wear a mask because I have a child that isn't eligible for a vaccine. Breakthrough cases are still possible, so while my vaccine will likely protect me from severe illness, my vaccine does nothing to protect my child. I also wear a mask to model the behavior I need them to follow.
why does everyone against the vax automatically say people that agree with the vax think they can't get it? I know plenty of people vaxed that def don't think that. Their common belief is they feel they are less likely to get really sick if they do get it. Either way its a roll of the dice as far as im concerned.
OP - why ask a question since it obvious you will filter responses through your foxnewsmax glasses? Maybe take the mask off your eyes and ears, and put it over your mouth.
Deaths from Covid in my age group for a healthy individual is less than .01% without a vax.
Why are people with 3 shots still wearing masks?
Given that the OP apparently doesn't read much I'll go ahead and say that it's a safe guess that the Exec Council isn't worrying much. The chance of breakthrough cases amongst those who've been vaccinated stands at less than 1% right now. Also no one has ever said that any vaccination automatically confers 100% immunity from any disease. It's scientifically impossible that every single person who receives a particular vaccine will respond to it in the exact same manner. Much less with the optimal response as a baseline.
Worked at BNY Mellon for 10 years before getting laid off in April. Covid vaccinations protect you from having a more severe breakthrough infection that could send you to the hospital.I live in a small, rural county that is very anti-vax. I personally know of 9 people who flouted masks and the covid vaccines that died from covid. Not many states track the severity of breakthrough cases, but it was either Illinois or Indiana that determined that deaths from breakthrough cases was 0.01%
& please. Don’t just regurgitate the TV mantra saying that you had mild symptoms because you had the shot…….
