"The vaccine mandate is for government employees." --- No it is not. It applies to all companies with more than 100 employees, in that you must get the vax or get tested weekly. It is stronger for gov employees/contractors that no longer will have the testing option they did have.

On August 23, 2021: FDA approved Comirnaty (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA), which was previously known as Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. Moderna is to follow soon.

If they pull this, tell them you wanthe FDA approved vaccine. It's not available per FDA.
As President Biden is about to (or did) announce that all federal employees and contractors must be vaccinated, it may force some part of the workforce to get vaccinated in order to keep working in the Fed arena.
