Hello friends, At present, I'm not not going to a Loc as per assignment in workday.
If laid off soon, will I still get 60 day notice and severance?

Looks like when @1mgc+1oxPUotk doesn’t understand the assignment it must mean everyone else doesn’t either.
Just do what everyone in my location seems to do, and I started doing, if you live close by go in for an hour or two and then head home, or leave at lunch if it is a further drive. They only care about the badge swipes anyway. Game the system until you have another position lined up.
Assigned location is being compared to badged-in location. Do whatever you want with this info.

If you are not going into a location at all then will terminate you, not lay you off.
It is up to your leadership on how it’s handled. I haven’t seen anyone get terminated just yet.
Think the OP needs to give more context. I am in the office 3 days a weeks, but not my assigned location. They assigned me an office 1000 miles a way from where I live, I was remote previously and no hub near me, never gave me an option to choose displacement. I go to a local Corparate Office. I expect if the try and fire me for cause I would sue them (my manager is fully aware I don't go to my assigned location), but more likely they would displace me to avoid and hassle. That said I'm retiring next March and can't wait to leave this place, so not long to go.
I think the point is that if you aren’t going to your assigned location that this is a reason for termination for cause and not a layoff.
You don’t show up for work and yet you expect to get severance? I think you are right. Do it.
If you're laid off or severed, you'll get severance. If you are terminated for cause, you don't get severance. That's it.

Not going to your assigned location is grounds for dismissal vs being laid off with severance and notice. Will that be enforced, guess you’ll find out if and when that day comes.
