Funny, that’s what happens now. Ask any PVT engineer what they do all day. Some of our issues are engineering. A lot of our issues are the VO side not wanting to change their processes. I don’t know how many daily plant quality meetings I’ve been in where the plant supervisors just flat out lied about containment of manufacturing issues just to meet their first run and first time thru numbers. We treat CAL as repair instead of inspection because if it’s truly an issue CAL will fund it.
Someone tell Farley that musk does this and and he will do it.
Anyone who works with the UAW for a week quickly realizes the problem is not in Engineering.
