Any idea why this is being distributed to only select employees* ?

“ Did anyone else notice that you'll no longer be able to see the salary ranges anymore for jobs other than your own? Job Families are going away and you can only view the salary range for your own role. That's some B.S. lack of transparency!”
100% agree. This is just wrong. So backwards. Really makes me uninterested in playing the career growth games here. The changes to ranges and incentive with no transparency is pushing me towards looking elsewhere. This was the last thing keeping me here, everything has been changed with terrible execution and thought of downstream impacts.
@1zzx That’s why Im going in now and saving all the roles that are above me or that I’m interested in transitioning to. I suggest you all do the same. Even across lines.
@1okf Because they have to consult everyone and their cousin to do perform any of their job duties. They’re always a bunch of middle men.
Call me Human Garbage. I don’t care. I’m I it for a paycheck. You can put any descriptive title on your resume if you need to.
only those worthy got the email
Even if you did not get the email go to your Personal Profile page and the information is there. Your manager probably forgot to check off the fact that they had not yet verbally informed you. For crying out loud, enough with the conspiracy theories. You people have no idea what you are talking about.
The only interesting thing now is that everyone will know where you stand regarding job level. Before it was taboo to let people know you were a level 1, 2, or 3. Now with the standard system it's obvious. I am not too impressed with the salary levels being taken away. They hopefully will still show up in the job descriptions. But again, they are not doing anything other companies already implemented years ago. If you want salary transparency go work for a liberal arts college who publishes salary roles of all employees. Then you can sit around and wonder why an associate professions with a degree in cooking arts makes 250K while you sit in administration making 80K; but the 10% match and 20 year pension might change your mind.
I wonder about the Business Support Associates or Business Support Consultants. I’ve been doing a BSC role for two years now, even though my title is a BSA. I’ve supported the other consultants when they are out of the office. They overworked me but wasn’t trying to change my title or compensate Me at all. It doesn’t matter I’m sure they will displace us by the end of the year.

I've always wondered why they have titles with the word "Consultant" in it, when it's actually a FTE position.
Systems QA Associate changed to Senior QA Analyst ............Is this a demotion or Promotion? Funny B........ Bunch of Jokers.
@1nqb+1e6AODDT, "Used to be a Business Systems Consultant, then had a title change to Technology Business Services Senior Associate. Now getting changed...again...to Lead Technology Business Services Consultant.
Who dreams this sh!t up?!"
Answer: the shishi fairy
If only our execs put the same effort into getting us out from under the asset cap.
This is going to be a disaster.

I was talking with an old coworker whose current title is Analytic Consultant. Her manager told her that AC will not be changed. I guess her manager was not right because the titles will be change to senior/lead/sr lead/ principal analytic consultant but her manager is not totally wrong either since they are still AC and I know my title was totally mapped to a new job family. So some titles may just have a tweak but I do think everyone should have gotten this email at this point it's not only about new job profile but also new compensation approach aka TVC.
I can confirm. Tech is affected.
What do they say out of curiosity? Does it discuss the new range? I’m dying to know if my midpoint (or range, whatever they wanna call it) is increasing.
They do not need to waste the email space on soon to be displaced employees.
Not everyone is getting the email on the same day. N9 worries... this nonsense will apply to you also!
