If they make me go in, I will wear my necktie with the end of up strapped up to my face with a big rubber band, so my gut shows.
People are asking because the place is so filthy it's unreal. They did not clean and sanitize the STL location at all....an inch of dust is on everything and packages and mail on desks etc - shows you it wasn't cleaned.

I forgot how to dress for business (but I didn't ask about dress code since it's pretty obvious)! I've pulled out my work outfits and have been practicing wearing them all day. Hahaha

Oh they do that there too? I am much further East but I know they do it in AZ too.

Maybe they are going to a new location and don’t know the dress code.

Same as it's always been? We have people that wear shorts and sandals 10 months out of the year.
I’m only going in enough to stay off the badge reports and I am not dressing for the occasion. If they really don’t want to spend the resources to reach out to my manager in another state to bi--h about my clothes they can knock themselves out. Fully agree on the no b-a.

If I have to go back, I plan to go with suit and tie. That and my mask will hopefully scare off anybody trying to get close...less interruption, less risk of infection. And since I have no clients or customers within 500 miles of my assigned location.
Last time I went into a WF office (first time in 4 years) everyone stared since I was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.
I don't own any business casual attire since I have been permanent WFH. I don't keep things I don't need.

I thought it was funny how several people recently on a return call asked about the dress code. You could tell the presenters were like, “it’s the same as it’s always been. Why are they asking this?”
