A large number of H1B employees in Cisco have an MS degree. Go look at Software, PM and TAC teams, some of them have PhDs too. Yes, if you have H1Bs being hired without those, that may not be fair. But spare a thought for someone who has spent 1000s of dollars in this economy studying and living in a foreign land. In my team, the difference in the resume of H1Bs versus citizens, just in terms of education is extremely large. Before spewing hate, look with an open heart and eye, the education background and resume of the employees. When a company has to layoff, they also look at the output and the background of the employee. If an H1B employee keeps their jobs over citizens, there must be a deeper reason.
