Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Town hall

Another waste of an hour listening to how we made senior leadership millions.
Enjoy your 2 percent raise peasants.

Reminds me of the old adage….

“I went broke from the money my spouse saved on sales.”

Like a gambler who wins $600 (after putting in $2000)

Yeah remove 500. Add 200. But advertise only the later

At our town hall, we were told our BU added lots of people this year.

The irony in listening to the town hall boast about how we beat out our competitors, meanwhile we are all getting sent a survey asking if we value dental insurance or HSA contribution or a 401k?! Expecting Fiserv to cut one of these in the new year. If Fiserv is indeed being this profitable, then there should be no need to cut back on employee benefits.

Communists are famous for their rows.

Come on comrades, it is time to row up!

@sillybilly

Let me guess, you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

I don't work at Fiserv so don't know your acronyms, but reading this thread leads me to believe you lot are communist losers who need row up. Funny how you have all the answers yet you're obviously doing work that you hate. Go figure.

Maybe you can take your talents somewhere that your attitudes are appreciated and welcomed. Airport TSA, perhaps?

Truly believe they think that if they consistently continue to spew the same lies over and over again at every Town Hall that people will start believing them. No other rationale I can think of for the obvious disconnect between C-Suite hubris and associate reality.

Remember when we used to be able to see all the questions & vote on them... now they highly filter every question & they still couldn't give a cogent answer for the layoffs/hiring freeze.

That's because outside of delivering the "corporate message" he probably doesn't actually do much but collect a huge check and fat bonus.

Anybody roll their eyes when he said he LIKED to be interrupted? For real? It takes 15 minutes to refocus on a task when you're interrupted. I was speechless.

Just me or did it seem extra effort was given to not name Pittsburgh a location?

The Town hall was a freakin joke! They must really think that the employees are deaf & blind. Apparently, they don’t realize that the employees hear from the clients about how unhappy they are with the service they have been receiving in the last two years. After all the lay offs I couldn’t believe they had the nerve to say that Fiserv is a great company to grow your career. I know people that have moved to other business units to advance their careers only to be laid off within months. I’m one of many that are getting laid off at the end of the month and I’m so looking forward to it!

I was surprised that they reported numbers. It showed the bank solutions was significantly more profitable than the rest of Fiserv. That should make it easier to sell them off.

I liked the military analogy they used.

In war only the pawns die, but at least we won the war.

(We laid off a bunch of employees, but at least I got my bonus!)

I has a read 'frag-you' energy to it.

Yeah. Pathetic to have two heads. We know HP calls the shots. We have much bigger customers now. Everything we touched was a success. Banking got most investments. Glad I was WFH. I was LOLing

It's sad seeing TH play second fiddle to FB's favorite: silver-tongued HP. TH is sincere and kind, and has been forced into an unfortunate situation. To me there will only ever be one head, and that is TH.

Can't imagine there's even time for town halls. Worked 8 to 6 today, no time for lunch.

It was also interesting to hear spill the bs the we have over 45k employees. Tell me how can that be with all the resignations and riffs we've had over the last few years

The bs double speak was pathetic. 2023 site strategy focus Aka more RIF of talent, buzz in bh cause it’s collaborative in the halls. BS all bh staff tell anyone who will listen that it’s noisy no one is working just wandering oh excuse collaborating. And best of all the bs about hiring more bs limited pool due to the ridiculous live is specific locations. And then stating than layoffs were due in part because of real estate expenses. Let that sink in fb value the building which serves no purpose over the people who satisfy our clients and they don’t give a rip where you are they just want help and someone to answer the phone. Wait plaw doesn’t want calls just work tickets. Get rid of all of them start with fb and the entire executive team and board

I enjoyed how the company shill posted quotes from the slide deck prior to the meeting.

I also think it's hilarious that they've changed "layoffs" to "expense actions". It's a perfect example of how soulless the company has become.
