Frank I watched more stimulating vids today and you can't do anything about it but pay people to bury threads on this site

Frank I'm still WFH and you literally can't do a dang thing about it - I simly have too much domain knowledge am protected far enough up that chain that you cannot touch me. I watched sketch vids all day today while jiggling my mouse around w/ the other hand and Sapience reported 7+ hours of productivity. Pack that one into your pipe and smoke it Frankie. I'll tell you what you're going to do: you're going to sit there and take it little man.

Like any kind of spyware it collects data indiscriminately and you are at the mercy of their algorithms ; that determine if you are of worth. I have personally checked how the spyware Sapience logs my time and it is flawed. Now , go try to explain to some suite in an office how Sapience id--t developers algorithms are flawed and only giving you partial (time) credit on your report. I wouldn't mind something simple that tells me how productive I am; but this software is not that; overly complicated dashboard (Buddy) , inaccurate time capturing, and now at the mercy of someone else's bad implementation of spyware. Can it get any worse at Fiserv? FB has sh-t on this place.

@2zbb+13sewOWu Check your installed programs. Click "Start," then "Control Panel." Double-click "Programs and Features." I see it as Sapience Updater. Makes me feel sick seeing it there. I had projects I really wanted to see through to completion but now maybe its wiser start looking now and make a transition.

@8zwn+13sewOWu Instead of making blind statements please elaborate, what exact software should we be expecting?

You think that was the only thing pushed out to your systems?
You have a full suite of spyware coming

I agree, Checkfree would have been a monster competitor of Fiserv.

Considering this software and others like it are illegal in the regulated space, and Fiserv associates connect their take home machines to prod. I wonder how our big clients feel about that? Then again, Yabuki is turning Fiserv over to 2 known fraudsters and selling stock like it's on fire...Makes one think that chapter 11 will soon be in the works. I feel sorry for anyone left at Fiserv. I sure wish Pete would have kept us as CheckFree.

Sapience deployed to 15,000 systems, most of old Fiserv and not Fdata systems so if you are Fiserv, your system is impacted. It will monitor and report on keyboard productivity so if you type nothing all day, you are not productive. Easy

How can we tell if our computer is impacted?

@1owu+13sewOWu Why wasn't the deployment of the software shared? Why weren't the employees told in advance when and what was being monitored? Where is the disclosure as to the purpose of data being collected? I'm sure there are many reasons a company would want to collect analytics on over15,000 employees without warning.
I personally am not worried, I show up and do my job every day and feel confident that the effort I give to my job is equal or greater than what I'm paid. I also realize I'm just a number on a page to leadership and will eventually end up getting axed without real cause.

This is very sad to read. I remember many talented and hard working people at Fiserv. I can’t imagine working in constant fear and having my activities watched daily. I’m sure Pete Kight, a true leader of people, would cringe at these posts

Oh and just to add in addition to my post a few min ago, not a shill at all. I work for a large company that uses analytics software too. My understanding is that most fortune 500 companies are. What theyre using it for is unknown to me.

Oh i totally agree that FB made FD a horrible place to work. Im a former employee of both companies with family that still works for fiserv. I knew immediately that this merger was a game changer for fiserv culture as soon as they announced FB was the COO. Ive met him personally. That guy is the picture of corporate greed. He doesnt care at all about the employees. Im sorry for all of you. :(

“a trend right now”

But FB has been involved with spying on employees for 10 years. Hardly a new thing.

It’s all about command and control. And trying to screw over employees.

Methinks we see a shill here - the old Fiserv never needed productivity analytics much. Goals were required annual and not quarterly - and no productivity tool like Sapience needed. Morale was high and it was mostly a pleasant place to work. Layoffs happened of course but nothing massive like now. So saying that everybody is doing it is not workable at Fiserv. Didn't need it until First Data ate the lunch. Because FData is doing it. Why is that? Hmmmm - nobody seems to say much that FData is a nice place to work and FB is one helluva guy.

Employee productivity analytics is not exclusive to Fiserv. MANY companies are using it too. Don't panic just because analytics engines have been deployed. It is a trend right now.

That’s such a critical point. The good severance packages are now gone. If you leave now it will be empty handed. Take this advice, leave on your own terms

@ofx+13sewOWu You are 100% correct, this will be used to rate individuals as low performers and cut them accordingly. This reduces the cost of RIFs and gives the leadership a way to wash their hands of the dirty work in the mentality of "Its not our fault, its yours"

What it means is that most severance packages that would be offered have now been doled out and FB is going to squeeze more out now through performance-based RIFs.

I remember your post regarding this product - no surprise here. That plus quarterly goal posting indicates strong employee monitoring for reductions in forced based upon evidence.

I posted on this forum three months ago that Sapience was being readied for deployment. It was activated for approximately 15,000 employees over the last week without notice. It was sent to director level and below; VP and above are not impacted at this stage, they will face a different criteria. No one seems to have a clear explanation of where the reporting is being sent or are not allowed to share that information. Expect this to be a key indicator on how many people are required in each department based on the utilization calculations. Also those with the lowest utilization will be let go in the upcoming reductions.
