Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Douche bag on this board

Anybody else hope at that a-s hat that’s on these threads day after day trolling people on here and talking how there hasn’t been layoffs since 2008 is axed in the Nov/Dec round of cuts? I usually wouldn’t wish that on anybody, but this person is such an arrogant full of sh-t a-s……

@bsfg, your Uncle Todd has fired thousands and replaced them with workers from a country which has more slaves TODAY than the US ever had.
Hope you're happy that you got your own thread on this site.

@OP

Please accept my sincere apologies for asserting that there hasn’t been a significant layoff since Charlie’s August 2008 massacre. Charlie’s August massacre was actually in August 2018. I humbly apologize for the error and greatly appreciate that you have notified me of this minor typo.

Correction: There hasn’t been a significant layoff since Charlie’s 2018 August massacre

@9ine, nobody at BK cares how many people Charlie laid off in 2008 since he was still at JPM and hadn't even skipped over to Visa yet much less BK.

@OP

But there haven't been been any large layoffs since Charlie in August 2008. Charlie cut 10% in August, 2008 in his second & final layoff. That’s why they call him Chainsaw. We have had three layoffs since ranging between 1% - 2%. All layoffs are horrible, but nothing comes close to August 2008.

You have to go back to the 2000 - 20008 10% per year layoffs to beat Charlie.

Google “does poverty cause obesity?” and learn. Our guesses and assumptions are often dead wrong.

@1qxl

Actually the greatest medical issue facing people in poverty is obesity. That’s a fact and quite easily researched. Go ahead… Google it. You have nothing to lose.

This post is actually true. We once had a safety net but it has grown into a hammock.

@1jio, post a link to news of anyone in the US who has died from exposure or starvation.

That's about the most ignorant thing I've ever read. May God have mercy on your soul.

@hot, nobody in this country goes without food and housing. Anyone who doesn't have it is mentally ill or a victim of child/elder abuse.

Keep the unnecessary comments to yourself. This is happening to people in real life. People are losing their job that puts food on their table and a roof over their head AND their families that they provide for.

I think that person is ill so I just ignore him/her.

Yeah there are a few annoying "personas" here that stink up every thread with the same comments, even if they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. I wouldn't be surprised if they were former BNYM employees attempting to ruffle some feathers.
