Are these jobs being outsourced fully to India? I looked up a posting with interest to apply and noticed literally hundreds of posting to India and other countries. I am rethinking this move. Anyone have insight?
The position itself is one that is used to drive more affluent strategy in the branch.

I applied for a couple of LBEC positions but didn't get an interview. The job descriptions is terribly vague so it's difficult to understand what exactly you are responsible for doing.
These are probably to replace all the 'scrum masters' laid off as Wells is ending its ''let's be agile" endeavor.
@1pbq+1r4mWpSt was on point. "friends and family of hiring managers due to the high pay for such a low skill "personality job".
I can't stress that they were supposed to be business analysts in tech.
They lacked the skills to get the requirements from the end users, to prioritize development, detail the process flow, and everything a BA was to do. I saw many tech projects fail from the start. They were fancy note-takers.
I guess there is this proof. After 5 years the asset cap is not lifted. Wells hasn't been able to get their process of loan modification in order.
5 years....
I get 5-10 new job alerts daily from sr lead level to director in this family. It’s doubtful to be fully offshored. It’s probably got targets like all roles.
These jobs genrally go to friends and family of hiring managers due to the high pay for such a low skill "personality job".
Do people just make stuff up on this board?
I hope not for everyone including the customer’s sake
I wouldn't see it as that. The job title is very general and includes a wide range of jobs. To answer your question, no not all lead BECs are going to India. India just happens to need their own Lead BECs it seems.
Join a company that is growing. WF is not.
Any title that ends with "consultant" is a job where WF either doesn't want to pay you the market rate or the accurate job title isn't allowed in that type of group. I used to work on a team of "consultants" where one was an administrative assistant and another was a software engineer.
This job title is used in many different ways and very dependent upon the team.
If this job is truly executing something on behalf of the business and India successfully sells to the US execs they can do it, then be prepared for it to be offshored at some point, unfortunately.
