I have an upcoming interview in TSG - I see a bunch of negative stuff about that team here. Can anyone tell me if it’s a good place to work? Good leadership? Good technologists working there? Thanks in advance.

It’s amazing how clueless people are about the sheer size of TSG, and when you add the the rest of tech and Ops it is giant.
Honestly, the average cubicle occupant mouth breather believes that TSG only fixes PCs.
TSG has at least 1/4 of the bank (~12K). Global tech and OPS is 60% which includes TSG.
16,000 in TSG??? Try 1,600.
Sorry, @1pdd, but TSG isn't anywhere near a third of the bank. ALL of IT is only one tenth of the bank.
Good point. The convoluted & pitifully integrated outsourced HR Systems are among the worst of TSG and our external partners. Then again, we are forced to provide at least minimal HR systems in order to provide a minimum of employee benefits. It really does make business sense to invest in revenue generating applications for clients instead of for cost centers such as internal HR systems. At worst it helps to drives attrition which saves money over Sub.
Tech is tech if you have the right skillset. If you do, then you can name your price. If you don't have the right skillset then it's up to you to learn and upgrade.
TSG is well over a third of the bank. Most all overworked but there are quite a few cushy jobs which really need to be trimmed. You won’t walk into one of those without great contacts.

TSG employee here. Mostly I’d say stay away. I’m personally looking for the right opportunity to exit. However, there are some good silos within TSG. It depends on what the job is you’re interviewing for?
TSG is so inefficient they are the reason we cant fill reqs in a timely fashion and want to control who gets hired and how much to pay them.. and by the time reqs are approved the candidate already moved on to another opportunity.
