@4ngb+1rx5bY5h. When have you ever heard about layoffs in advance in the town hall meeting. Don’t ever expect your Ford management (notice I did not say leadership) to be up front and actually care about employees with upcoming layoffs. They never tell us the truth. They only take care of themselves. This company needs new LEADERSHIP!!!!!
Because they've always announced headcount reductions before they've reduced headcount! 🤣🤣
What a total ta-d
There has been no mention of headcount reduction in any of the recent town halls.
Stop sewing the seeds of doubt. FoMoCo is very profitable.
"Late March tracks with previous layoff timing."
While anything is possible, I think June/July is more likely since
#1- management is being consumed by objective setting
#2 - this will be closer to the date when each organization is supposed to have completed an evaluation of the skills needed versus skills on hand
Late March tracks with previous layoff timing. There was a sizeable layoff in late March 2022 before the big one in August of 2022.
It isn't looking good.....
Who i this f-150 guy?
@1qqn+1rx5bY5h
While it could be a possibility about.
That response is reminis of someone who has absolutely no idea of actually what happened.
I'm pretty solid in my software skills so weak disses like that don't bother me at all lol.
People who made significant visible contributions in our department were let go.
So it's not performance based it's
just politics with ini-meanie-mini-mo thrown in to the mix.
If one of the literal best devs in your entire department
gets laid off and even the manager was surprised he was laid off.
Is it still based on performance? Lol
“ because of your performance”
Oh please, what about the top achievers who were let go?
The reality is if your ll5 isn’t powerful enough or if you aren’t an as* kisser you will be toast here
What about bonehead bill’s son who was made the GM of performance division- you think he got there because of his performance
@1kza, HTHD means your job classification is HTHD, you may benefit from a better salary, but it doesn’t mean you are a good employee. You actually may have been good and valued when you were hired, but when you were fired, you didn’t have value to the company - likely because of your performance. Just because you were a software developer and they are considered HTHD, you can still be bad at it.
I was designated HTHD too then got canned Shortly thereafter.
Even got a raise
None of the designations or promotions mean that you are safe
I'm part of the EV brkt group and we just got designated to HTHD with 50% salary increase with another increase end of year. So not sure what everyone here is talking about.
Bracket group promoting 3 new TS's and 2 new campaign prevention specialists.
F-150 guy is the Chicken Little of FoMoCo.
This time the EV brackets group will be targeted.
@xbo+1rx5bY5h I have been coming to this site for years and have had no malware issues whatsoever. Try not browsing this site and a po-n site at the same time, maybe?
Please be me, please be me.
This site is worthless. Other than the malware it tries to install on my device (which gets blocked), I get nothing from it.
Yeah. Right.
