I never thought that I was better than others, but I subordinated my whole private life to this company and I really loved my job so the layoff really surprised me. In essence, only now from a short distance can I better understand what it is like to work at TR. Yes, it is a real culture of fear.
What particularly surprised me was how much I have personally changed while working at TR and I don’t like it. I have never been a distrustful person, but now at my new workplace I no longer trust anyone. I believed that hard work and loyalty mean something, now I don’t think so anymore.

What will it take for Management and the spineless HR to realise that this company will never be a high performing company until they start treating staff with respect and offer real career opportunities. Anyone reading this and thinking of joining TR, I would suggest you do your research to understand what you will be letting yourself in for.
The good ones will soon start leaving as the economy starts to recover and the poor management structures will remain, because they know, they will find it difficult to get away with what they do today.
@1rtw+19ETyxkJ : I hear what you're saying brother or sister. The fact is that the tone and atmosphere of a company trickles down from above. The atmosphere at TR is not going to change soon. If you think it will, you're dreaming. If you can find something else with another company take it.
Trust is earned and when you put so much into performing day in and day out,, it becomes your identity in many ways. It makes you feel good about what you do, then due to no reason of your own, they pull the rug out from under you. What does performance mean at TR, the sad truth is absolutely nothing, and HR stands idly by like the buffoons they are and allow it to happen.
At TR there are pockets of people that cannot be trusted and unfortunately these are individuals who can cut and slice as they see fit without any real justification, other than they feel like it. I have seen folks get terminated because they were in a certain office but their boss in another, interestingly the employees that were let go where significantly higher performers. Add to that scenario, other groups within that same team where allowed to continue working in that office, and by the way significantly under performing. I have seen folks get terminated because their boss just didn't like them, who were singled out and bullied, then put on a PIP and then fired.
It is a shame that TR does not value it's employees, it could be a really good place to work, but again if you go or stay has really nothing to do with performance, which can really give you trust issues.
I think this trust issue is born out of this pandemic. I trust even less people. I've had many jobs so yeah I don't trust corporations. It's a means to an end.
