NX Org impacts

Any rumors regarding NX org impacts? Apparently, a lot of Meraki folks are as of FY25 goaled as well for Cisco Classic revenue and vice versa. It makes no sense, in my opinion, to pay for each deal two AM, sales engineer, PAM, and so on. Too many people are already being paid on a single deal.

Field will be the first hit
Meraki and EN sellers are being aligned and evaluated

We lose market share because too often people don't speak to customers and hide behind partners

Gary will prefer Meraki as this is a customer facing organisation

Meraki and EN are converging into NX and we will have a single sales team vs. the infighting that currently occurs today. The big problem is that while Meraki isn't perfect we're stuck in the past and not selling SaaS/cloud and our competitors are taking market share.

As far as I know no layoffs will occur during the merge but who knows what Gary intends to do as we move into FY25....the numbers aren't great across all of Cisco. He might prefer Meraki seller mentality coming from Splunk.

You can't pay double compensation for the same teams doing the same job on the same account
This will also impact management and reporting
The business wants to adopt the Meraki sales practice but position the NX portfolio
Interesting times ahead

Rumors are rumors...but hearing from multiple managers that EN specialist teams are going to be sla-ghtered. Can't pay 2x commissions and there are just so many Meraki people on board. Support and expertise don't matter to the higher ups so much...it's the spreadsheet cost that matters...along with the long term alignment away from trad hardware.

Of course this is not confirmed...this is just what is going around...
