How many have been let go so far? How many are left to be laid off before the restructuring or reorganization or whatever they're calling this is finally over? How many more weeks or months do we have to wait until we no longer have to worry about layoffs every single day?

@1snj that means it's 1750+ in total? dang that number is higher than the estimated 1600 ish
Wave 1 was 500-ish.
Wave 2 will be drawn out and I have credible information that the body count will an additional 1250-ish, starting in last week of March and finished by end of April.
I got ahold of JD’s plan. Keep this under wraps as it is highly confidential:
Step 1. Lay people off
Step 2. ???
Step 3. Profits!
Just Do It.
Beware the Ides of March
Last two weeks of April we were told.
I heard this week from my VP in Global Tech that phase two will happen in late April. Good luck! I expect GT to get cut again.
According to a townhall session it was under 500 for round 1, leaving 1100 or so left. Slated for April
North America is the first week of April. Good luck folks.
The new normal. Get used to it.
There is no finish line
Wave 1 was around 500 people
Just don’t stress about it? Gee why didn’t we think about that?! Have any more pearls of wisdom to share?
It’s Nike. They never end.
You've got to stop stressing out over this. When this one's over, there will be another. Then another. Then maybe you are termed. Then your new employer has their own cycle of re-orgs.
I don't know. Seems like reorgs are a common thing inside and outside of Nike. I'll bet you anything there are more re-orgs in 1-2 years. I've been here 8 years and there's always a reorg on the horizon.
So how much of your life do you want to spend stressing about the unknown? Is it helping? Is your quality of life better for having stressed about what you can't know?
Wave 2 is coming before the end of the year. Aren't you reading our servant leader JD's emails? My money is on end of April. There are large pockets of the organization which haven't really been touched - e.g. Brand/Marketing, Design, etc. So no, this is far from over.
