Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Jan 4, was any action taken?

Was the mandate upheld? Was anyone let go or leave on Jan 4?

It’s funny that you’re all afraid of a vaccine that may have caused thousands of deaths, but not of a virus that has caused millions of deaths.

This is where you state that the numbers are wrong and it’s all a hoax.

Look at the rest of the world without US politics. Is it a hoax there too?

Help, all these vaxxers are shedding the vax on me.

@1zoo+1eEgoGMi Yeah, that's the beauty of the vaccine that works so well you need 3 boosters and it still doesn't stop you from getting the disease.
I was never vaxed and got covid and had 3 days of itchy eyes and a very minor light cough for a week, and maybe a headache or two. Certainly better than getting the flu. So I know you want to pat yourself on the back for making what you think is a good decision, but we'll never know if it actually did anything for you or not. Now of course I'm not old and fat so that probably helped, but if that's all it does there's no need for a vaccine for those not in the target demographic (65+ and co-morbidities). The government and media has run a very successful fear campaign.

Not sure if reality matters to the antivax brigade but wanted to share my personal experience with it. Got 2x Pfizer and the booster. Picked up Omicron in church full of unmasked people despite wearing a surgical mask the whole time. Had the following symptoms: slight sore throat for 1.5 days, a lot of sneezing for 2 days, 1 degree fever for 1 day and a headache on and off for 2 days. After roughly 3 days, no symptoms. And on the worst day of symptoms I ran my usual daily 4 miles and did my usual daily 500+ pushups. So I am considering myself very lucky to have gotten the vaccine as it made big bad covid into something laughable symptom-wise. This thing is so contagious it is not a question of "if" you are going to get it, its "when". And if someone does get it while unvaxxed, the end result is probably going to be more severe than what I experienced. Argue all you want, the disease is laughing at you.

So, this turned into another vax / anti vax squabble.
No matter how worked up you get, neither side will change the other sides opinion.
How about an answer to the questions?
Was any action taken?
Was the mandate upheld?
Was anyone let go?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Wishing ill upon others is bogus, narcisstic, and just plain stupid. You forget that if more people leave, you get more work to do. That's mo--nic.

Huh, the FDA gave full approval. And yet it is still experimental?

I'll never deny that there could be side effects just like OTC meds could have side effects.

Maybe get larger Red hat to wear so it isn't so tight...

Like other pharma, if the covid vaccines had a TV commercial, they'd have to disclose the side effects and no one would ever take one. Ever wonder why there is no side effect disclaimer?
The covid vax is still a medical experiment. If you want to participate in the medical trial, fine, but respect the people who don't want to be guinea pigs.

@1sod
Low risk ??? Covid vaccines ki---d more people so far than all other vaccines combined in the last 100 years. Read up an learn more !
Not to mention long-term risks that NO ONE knows yet.
Covid vaccines only target one protein out of 5 proteins of the virus, if the virus mutate a little bit the vaccine you took worth $hit. On the other hand, natural immunity fights against all 5 protein plus T-cell of the virus, and your chance of survival in case of infection is 99.9%, why would you trade that for much higher chance you get hurt by the vaccines??? Low risk my a$$. How come people still don't see it?

They should layoff the low information posters like @1sod+1eEgoGMi who are unable to objectively see the information and viewpoints of both sides, ignore natural immunity, ignore the reported side effects, and ignore whatever else CNN doesn't report, and ignore any information that doesn't align with their personal beliefs.

I got Covid once before I got the vaccine in April, and I almost died!! luckily I made it through. After the vaccine, about 2-3 months from the 2nd shot, I felt a little bit tired but still felt that I can move around and work, I did a test and came positive. I was shocked about how different the experience was comparing the (before) and (after) the vaccine. The conclusion is, I tried it all, it is still a MUCH LOWER risk to take the vaccine that not to take it!. Just look at how many people died or got hospitalized between the group who are vaxed vs not vaxed. Just take the vax (given it is a lower risk that not taking it) and protect yourself, family and colleagues !

I support the company to lay off all those who are not willing to take the least risky path and getting the vax (unless there is a medical reason).... we gotta be reasonable... push politics and the STUPUD conspiracy theory away! There is a lower risk when taking it than when not taking it... (just turn on that little thing inside your head that is called brain and think about it from all angles at least once, and you will see the right answer .. get the vax or leave !!!) Again, unless there is a medical reason, then you MUST take it for the benifit and protection of yourself, family and your colleagues!

@1wdw+1eEgoGMi, do you "have a tiny but of education"? Do you ever stop and wonder why so many highly-educated doctors and nurses refuse to take the vaccine? Do you ever wonder why it's going to take the FDA 55 years to release the data they reviewed in 10 days to determine the vaccine is safe? It's always the uneducated folks who think they know more than everyone else. I'm reasonably educated and have more questions than answers. But I don't have 55 years to wait for the FDA to release the data to independent reviewers. You should cut people some slack in their individual risk assessment as it has nothing to do with you. Covid-19 is here to stay and we need to learn to live with it just like we have done with the flu all of our lives.

Safe is a very relative term. I have had complications from the vaccine including resumption of monthly cycles 2 years after menopause ( age 55). This was a serious issue and my doctor told me it was a "common" side effect. The issue has persisted. I have undergone several invasive treatment to address without success. Symptoms started suddenly coincident with moderna vaccination, to which i had a a fairly strong response. There is zero doubt regarding causality.
Safe? Maybe for you. I have doctors orders to not take the vaccine again.

How stupid is that!... just get the F... vaccine!!! it is a vaccine (if you have a tiny but of education, you will know that it is SAFE!... vaccine!)... come on... all those anti-vax people are the reason people are dying everywhere because of how stupid and arrogant your brain functions... get vaccinated or I hope they will kick all unvaxed people out ASAP (unless there is a good medical reason)

Fair enough – but in that case Honeywell would be better served explicitly terminating the non-compliant, rather than disingenuously attempting to claim they voluntarily resigned (as was suggested might happen in an earlier post).

@1dnc
There are many companies that have been terminating employees. Most actions have been upheld in court.

I get that the federal mandate can be overturned but companies can still decide how to handle their workforce.
Especially in right to work States.

Just saying there will have to be some deep pockets to take on all the corps.

It will be a bold strategy if Honeywell attempts to claim that non-compliant employees voluntarily resigned. After all, HR already threatened employees (in writing) that the non-compliant would be subject to disciplinary action up to termination without severance.

I’m no lawyer, but based on that willful threat of action, a judge might take a dim view of Honeywell’s subsequent claim that employees voluntarily resigned?

I got a call from HR asking if they can have update because I haven't completed sine app.
I did not answer yes or no, but let them know I stand firm on my ethics, morales and beliefs until I am forced to leave, that mandate I will comply to.

I'm looking forward to the day in Jan/Feb when the powers that be state that in order to be "fully vaccinated" you will have to get the 3rd jab & then the 4th! Israel is further along and already moving to the 4th. This is indeed what they call Mass Formation Psychosis...

I think vac people in general think they are invincible, so they don’t wear mask, putting hands and feet in their mouth and don’t practice social distance w/ their household members which could cause on going issues

Unless I missed something, unpaid leave would be a departure from what they have communicated. The FAQ states:
"...if employees have not provided proof of vaccination by Jan 4, they will be treated as having voluntarily resigned at the close of business on that date."

My father was notified by HR yesterday, Jan. 4, to attend a meeting with them on Friday Jan. 7 to put him on unpaid leave. Looks like it's definitely happening in his building at least. They've not slowed down one bit since this all started, except the extension from December 8th.

I heard from a very reliable source that Sine has a bug in it. The user had to make a slight change to the profile, but the fixed window size profile editor closes when you scroll down to the Save button (the Save is not visible without scrolling).

Typical Honeywell garbage…

About 12 more left this week due to the jab mandate. They are done with the BS.

Was informed this morning by leadership that new guidance is coming from corporate this week.

It seems like it was a company-wide proof of concept for Sine because that company was acquired by Honeywell. They don't actually care if you're vaccinated, but they do wanna show their cool new acquisition off and try to get other companies to use it. Always follow the money... Just like the rest of this bu-----t plandemic.
