Post ID: @1sve+1cLZxDpA there you go, they got your IP and MAC address when they drove by taking pictures for the street view:

Google's roving Street View spycam may blur your face, but it's got your number. The Street View service is under fire in Germany for scanning private WLAN networks, and recording users' unique Mac (Media Access Control) addresses, as the car trundles along.

Germany's Federal Commissioner for Data Protection Peter Schaar says he's "horrified" by the discovery.

"I am appalled… I call upon Google to delete previously unlawfully collected personal data on the wireless network immediately and stop the rides for Street View," according to German broadcaster ARD.

Spooks have long desired the ability to cross reference the Mac address of a user's connection with their real identity and virtual identity, such as their Gmail or Facebook account.

Other companies have logged broadcasting WLAN networks and published the information. By contrast Google has not published the WLAN map, or Street View in Germany; Google hopes to launch the service by the end of the year.

But Google's uniquely cavalier approach to privacy, and its potential ability to cross reference the information raises additional concerns. Google CEO Eric Schmidt recently said internet users shouldn't worry about privacy unless they have something to hide. And when there's nowhere left to hide...?

So, go ahead and post, it's anonymous...

@1sve you may want to see what google has on you, and yes, they have your physical address, IP address and everything possible you showed interest in. I can't find the article, but the cars mapping the street view, they also collect IP addressee associated with the physical address and know what sites you visit when using their products, considering that this site is hosted on their servers they probably know you on a first name basis, dear. It is true, the ISP provider has your IP number and address associated with everything you post (unless you are using vpn) and they will provide that info if subpoenaed. Check the link below and see what they have on you, just in case you thought anybody respected your privacy on line:

Oh my God, it’s like watching Resident Alien episode, except this time 👽 first time seeing wonders of the Earth landed to our bank asking all sort of questions about how the Internet works.

So here it goes:

What that article says is - if you are paranoid and think you may be tracked use VPN. It also says every single website you visit knows your IP address. And that has nothing to do with your keyboard moves, meaning every single website you ever visited has it, including the site you just linked. This means nothing in terms them determining who you are, it’s like having someone’s zip code without knowing his name and address. Your internet provider made sure you stay anonymous. But if you do something illegal, the police can ask and get a court subpoena to get that info. Hackers can probably do the same without a subpoena, so if you are worried you can be their target use VPN.

Btw, websites use captcha and cloudflare to protect themselves from automated spam. Otherwise, this and every other website would be clogged with posts on how great viagra pills are. Most bots don’t recognize images the way the human eye does, so you get asked to describe (type) something you see in a photo.

As for the post deletions, I suggest you read the site rules or at least stop calling other people names as personal insults are not allowed here.

Post ID: @1zte+1cLZxDpA please do explain. This site is probably using cloudflare to check and validate your IP address. There are IP addresses and countries that are banned from accessing this website. Once they got your IP address, google has everybody's IP address obtained when mapping everybody's location via Google Street View. They actually ping all routers when they drive by and get the IP location associated with the physical location. So yeah, the OP is right. Quit being such a cu.nt and accept you are wrong you m0ron.

Post ID: @hhl+1cLZxDpA OP is right you f u c k i n g mo.ron, the site is hosted on google servers, the spell check keeps constant tabs on your typing and entering the captcha number when posing messages pretty much validates your IP address.
