No one person has the ability to do this. It's the collective efforts spanning the entire org that could help in those efforts. You have to stay out of the negative spotlight and do good things. You have to silent your critics and awake your advocates and supporters.

I don't tell people I work at the bank if I can help it. It's just too painful to have the scandal conversations. Tips to avoid full disclosure - 1. I work in IT, 2. I work in financial services, 3. I work in banking. If all fail then disclose Wells Fargo as a last resort.

My entire family won't deal with Wells Fargo anymore because of all of the offshoring they do. They moved all of their accounts to a local credit union and got better rates too.
There's evidence that the bank is struggling to hire new talent due to the bank's abysmal image.
Talk with the person on the street and they will tell you they they will never do business with Wells Fargo regardless of branding or message. There are some things a bank just can't do like creating fake accounts.
well, to be honest, they WERE given an impossible/difficult task ...............
but, then again, they had to realize that going in.
