@1tbq Railroaders are supposed to be.....well railroaders! The people you're referring to are very hard working, and very proud of their jobs. The office railroaders don't know what real railroading is. Real railroading is done with brutal and back-breaking work. Out here, this work can have lethal or life-changing consequences if you screw up. I'm sure the muscles must burn when the office railroaders are flicking a pen or tapping away on a computer mouse. I can only imagine the torture one must go through when an ink or coffee stains end up on their blouses, or the unthinkable paper cut. Your statement is very insensitive to the ones who came to work, did their job, supported families, and then have it all taken away because they were deemed non-essential personnel in the very interest of shareholder profit. Here's one other thing for you to think about if you want to post another BS comment. I don't know if you work for the NS, and frankly don't give a shlt if you do or not. You need to remember that with PSR, NO JOB IS SAFE INCLUDING MANAGEMENT! DO NOT make the mistake in thinking you're job is safe because you have seniority or you're a manager. If you want to doubt that, then go over and check out the UP board. A few of the managers that thought they were safe, were let go, and started posting on that board. Think next time before post.
Railroaders are hard working and proud of the work they do , but nd is taking their jobs ,treating them worse than animals, and disciplining them as much as possible , I am glad you won't be on this site again because management should not be on this site.

Railroaders are supposed to be strong, salt of the Earth people. Proud of their jobs and benefits. Hard working and respectful. You people on here are exactly what the company unveils you to be. Times are changing. Quit crying and adapt or move along. Railroading isn't for everyone. The ocean of tears on this site is embarrassing and a black eye to railroaders. I am never getting on here again.

If the company performance results for ‘20 are unable to show significant improvement in making the long anticipated goals then it’s a good bet some top management figures will be given the Farrell treatment and sent on their way. The door to the big office on the top floor just might have Cindy’s name on it real soon.
