Why is everyone concerned with the rtp campus? No one is in the office anymore so who cares.

The buildings will remain empty, being slowly reclaimed by nature.

They will be used as shelter for wandering hoards searching for food; post WW3 apocalypse.

Apple is buying all the buildings except 2 buildings that host labs.

So bogus. There are labs in every building except possibly 1 or 2 buildings. The lab consolidation effort is supposed to take 5 yrs to complete, so no buildings will be sold before then.

And why would Apple want our old, outdated, boring buildings after buying up the land behind us to build a nice, new modern campus?

Apple is buying all the buildings except 2 buildings that host labs. Those 2 will be sold in 18 months once the labs have been relocated to India & Richardson. RTP employees will be asked to relocate if their role cannot be performed remotely.
Don't ask me how I know all this. Take it or leave it.
