Let’s just add salt to the wound and start my hour commute back to work the Monday after spring forward.
At the end of the day is it a big thing, no,
It’s just one more disrespectful cherry on top of this sh show.

'Cause starving yourself will prove whatever point you're trying to make. Now self-immolation would make an even stronger point except that gas ain't cheap anymore.
Don’t spend a dime there at the cafe.

Use a freezer pack and keep it at your desk. Not rocket science.
And, as others noted, gas is at an all time high.
Grocery prices are way up with inflation but it's still cheaper to eat at home. If I go into the office, I'll either have to visit the cafe, use an overpriced vending machine, or buy packaged items from the store for meals or snacks.... which may cost several extra dollars.
If I bring leftovers, I would be sharing refrigerator space with many unknown co-worker's foods, using the same cramped microwave area, and untold germs all around.
Sorry, people in mass just totally gross me out and I am legitimately concerned about germs from large gatherings after all this.
At least gas is cheap.
It is especially annoying when corporations have been moving to a WFH model for several years. We have arrived at the destination and they are turning around. Plus the commute is bad for the environment.
This is Charlie and I want to thank you for your support of my mindless BS.
At least there was originally some sense behind DST. There's zero sense behind RTO for anyone who doesn't absolutely need to be in an office.
