Several weeks ago, my manager informed the whole team that their jobs have been moved to Dallas. We will need to reapply for our jobs, and then move to Dallas. We have to be in the office 5 days a week. We were told any time frames. I haven't received any additional information. Is anyone else here with CS&O (not CSO) have any additional information?

Nothing blind about great performance with actual measurable outcomes. But luck is all anyone has here anymore, and mine hasn’t run out yet. I’m ready to move on when it does. If anything, people like me, and there are many of us, hold the line to keep it from going to the ground. What do you do to move the needle?

If I need to, I will just jump to another telecom or company with the skillsets i have always kept up to date and do just fine. Walmart has a well paid corporate management team also, so its definitely an option. You seem to limit your thinking of what you are capable of and project that on to others. Maybe take a few minutes and assess how you can improve your life and outlook on the world. Good luck to you.

I'm hoping that my bargained for position in CS&O is laid off! I can't stand working for this company anymore! I'll probably bail on this company with or without a new job by some time in July!

“ Lol'n at how lucky you were to get chosen to work here”
Lay off the booze…
Lol'n at how lucky you were to get chosen to work here, just like the rest of us. You have had zero impact in your time here on the union contract. The core of these contracts were built in the 60s through the 80s when labor was valued by companies. Some of you take it seriously, as craftsman, but some of you don't really have great skills but just manage to get by with bare minimum and would not have made it in the bell system when these contract were written, so spare us your hubris.
More management being forced to move. Lol'n at people who think this is how the union contracts work.
Well I guess you got your moneys worth out of the union dues. Wake up, your union jobs are even more at risk than any others.
I believe the name of the org you are describing is just Customer Operations.
cso will never have this happen to them.
T has a customer service department? Do our customers know that?
Union jobs also get cut, based upon seniority and the desk jobs have “replace me with AI written all over them”
But the union jobs are …….ah nevermind…
