FYI it doesn’t get paid out like PTO if you get laid off. Use it or lose it.

Hi there! OP here. In fact, yes, I am a newer-to-Nike employee and have never had the benefit of a floating holiday before. I’m also an IC for whom one day does make a difference. Thank you @1vzv for getting it. So many of us are under a mountain of stress right now, so be sure to take care as much as possible with whatever resources are available.
These responses are rude. It’s a great reminder that you can have a day off in the midst of horrible in office morale without using your PTO. It’s a good tip.
1 day of paid time of is least of anyone's worry if laid off....
