Their CCA CO2 literally comes from the XOM plant. Why would they ditch those assets when they can still get carbon credits for injecting and recovering oil.
Probably keep Denbury HQ running at full staff for a couple years just to avoid letting people take the bag and run
Some of that production, like CCA, will still need to be around. Unless XOM has a different place to dump their northern CO2?
You can sell some of those fields for the 4th time.
The Denbury production will be sold quite quickly leaving only the CCS assets. Good luck to the Denbury production folks.
If it makes you feel any better, I will start hotdesking with my wife while I work from home. I guess it'll be good practice.

Who could have predicted this? Set up a phony department for show, then buy the asset and technology. Next step is sort through the Denbury and LCS people for keepers and can the rest.
With that being said the folks with the knowledge will be sponsored to the highest levels. It will bring out the worst in their team mates.
