Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

This place ki---d my drive

No matter what I do there's always something they'll find to complain about. I've been busting my a-s for this place just to be met with expectations to do more. It's never enough. Well, I no longer care. If you can't satisfy somebody when you know you're doing a great job, then what's the point in trying? I'm ready to leave and give my best to a company that will know to appreciate it.

Our department can't fill roles in region due to lack of qualified applicants so they are opening the role up to other regions to try and fill the spots. They don't compensate enough to get people in or to stay so it's a constant revolving door.

@1wss+1iBMjeLo - at this point, with so many open roles (and they are so embarrassed, they've even stopped posting all of them) if the person breathes and has a pulse, they are hired!

Candidates hear "we are a work from office company" and hang up the phone.

Stupid dinosaur policy - and we saw what happened to them!

The over engineering of simple processes ki---d everyone's drive!
They don't hire good quality people anymore and look for visa workers or cheap folks... simply put that won't push anyone's drive forward.

I've never been so isolated and alone than ever before. The term "quiet quitting" isn't new and BofA folks have been the pioneers or that in the last 5 years.

It's not all departments that are like this, but the cancer will spread throughout the body of this organization.

To fix this the bank needs:

  • empathetic and real onshore leadership
  • better pay and flexibility
  • investment in people and promote and raise salaries of loyal employees
  • pipeline of talent from local universities

Yeah they suck. I’ve been in a great mood ever since I accepted a job offer from somewhere else.

The nitpick stup id sht and will promote people who they like left and right. I just heard someone got promoted who was on leave for several months. How can you justify promoting someone that wasn't evening at the work to earn it?
