Looks like BofA decided to enter the race for the most toxic culture, the most hated employer, and the most employees forced to quit within a month title, all at once. I can't find any other explanation for why our work environment has shifted so drastically in the last several years.

This goes back to 2011 when BoA went to home loans! All the managers showed what genuine as-----s they really were!

@1xau+1cSVb1ZL - yes, you are given several options. Visit https://www.bankofamerica.com/information/associates/ and click the Money tab. Select Pension, enter your SSO and you can see all the choices.
If you are let go, you can ask to have the lump sum paid across 2 years to spread out the tax impact.
Or you can just call the Benefits Line and ask them to run the numbers for you. I like the portal better, b/c you can enter different dates in the tool to run various scenarios.
I've been checking it for years and never had any repercussion. Figured if I was ever asked, I'd just say I'm working on my financial planning with my FA who was asking me a lot of questions. But no one has ever asked me about it.
