The news is reporting ATT is in talks with two groups about the sale of Direct TV.
Let’s see if many billions are lost on this sale. Another failed decision by our leadership.

@1xbq, You need to look at the profit and not the revenue of DIRECTV.
DIRECTV has a lot of overhead.
Not angry,look at the Sixteen billion times an average bill of 75 dollars a month equals One point two BIllions a month times twelve is twelve Billion dollars a year times five years equals about sixty Billion!Wake up folks,Directv is paid for already!Why in the world would anyone in their right mind want to sell a business that brings in that kind of money a month?I am aware of operation cost but just something for Directv haters to think about!Drop Mic!

If you're an exec who gets bonuses in part based upon stock performance....that would be a reason to temporarily inflate Direct TV Now. Never mind the product was glitchy garbage. Yes, angry DTV guy, the product that product is garbage.
The decision to purchase the declining business at $49 billion was the first mistake, and there were many that followed (I don't want to incur the wrath of Angry DTV guy that posts here often).
Cutting losses at this point would be a positive.
