I know before it was something such as a promotion couldn’t exceed a 10% increase or more if not approved by like an OC member.
Is that still the case when applying? What are the current “limits” that need extra approvals?

I recently received a promo out of nowhere with a 15-20% bump. Really depends on your LOB.

Dang 120/hr would be sweet!
With the rebalancing of Job Titles, you have to get OC approval for any raise if you move to a lateral role title, even if there is an increase in responsibility. If the move does qualify for a raise, more than 10% has to go to the OC for approval.
I posted for a one-level higher position, not even sure why but I fully expect them to offer me a 10% raise which would bring me to $120 roughly. Comparable positions are usually 140 on the low end, up to 200 at other bigger companies in my area. If this turns out to be the case, I'll ask for much more, if they say no I'll look outside the company.
@xfi+1gsWYgqh - it’s more like, how low do you have to be. If you’re making $18/hour, a 20% raise is $3.60. So you need OC approval to hire someone with a starting salary of $21.61/hour.
there is a document that exists that shows what approvals are needed for what type and amount of increases. In my experience though, their is the corporate guidance but then each lob will have their own unwritten rules
This is a maddening policy, especially when the same bean counters wouldn't bat an eye at paying an external candidate even more.
20% was the general rule across the bank. Used to be documented in old Manager Center, not sure if carried over to Workday.
How high up must one be to receive a 19.5% hike?
Thank you both
20% without Oc approval at least in corp risk
They can go up to something like 19.5% without approval. The reality is they do not like to give more than 10%.
