Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Where are my peeps who still like working here?

There's gotta be more of us here. Don't be shy, raise your hand. We need some positivity in this endless display of negativity.

A little while ago, it would have been ME that created this post because, a little while ago, I was "this guy". I even quit and returned after a number of years only to finally realize that every so-called "negative aspect" of what "peeps" say on this site, is, for the record, THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH! I left agian and was immediately swept up by a competitor. Good Luck y'all!

Douches like you are the reason the real talent is leaving. Have fund picking up the workload.

Don't confuse the reality of the situation as negativity. The people that run the place are happy... because they do very little work and reap huge rewards from the work of others. The producers are leaving in droves because of it.

@1qwv, seems like there are no longer any fine folks like Tired Director left in the organization. Or at least any with cojones.

Most of them live in Malaysia.
Not Binton mind you ... that site was closed crushing prospects of dozens of families.
I understand Penang is still in operation.
They were always cheerful on the phone.
Mexico folks also seemed cheerful.
The chinese folks like to gather at the honeywell sign as a group and sing their site song or give holiday greetings. they seem happy even as temporary employees. it does wear off though...

Had an entire group of happy young people here in DV back in 2019/2020. honeywell reneged on a tuition reimbursement promise when they were halfway through master's degree's. Left them with no option but to spend $30K more to finish or have nothing for their work. All of them are gone but one I think.

but.. US employees? I have not met a truly happy employee in the US since 2006.

When was the last time you saw someone wearing a "Honeywell" shirt, hat, or jacket in public? Last person I saw like that was in the Bangalore airport in 2018.

@twi+1fcl6K3V Happy campers visit this site because we want a heads up on things to come. Something this site has been lacking since many (such as Tired Director) have left.

Why would happy campers be trawling a layoff site? Context is everything!

I recently left but enjoyed my job and co-workers. For the most part, my managers were good. I left for better pay and benefits. I was able to gain experience and learn new skillsets that I took with me to my new employer. With Honeywell, the only way to get a significant raise is to change jobs, either internally or externally. There were very few internal opportunities at my site.
