Employees relocating to other offices effective immediately.

It appears they are closing this location sometime next year. They haven’t told my group if they were going to sell or lease it out. Or if our relocation is temporary or indefinite. Has anyone been told how long they’ll be at JC or 240? Or are they saying they cannot comment on this time. I’m also hearing that not everyone in the building is being moved out. Anyone else heard that.
Thanks for the update. Please be aware that in 4 years nobody will believe you that
Going to agree with @2ktx+1pUFoXgq
Keep good notes. For the next 4 years those in Asset Servicing Engineering will be incessantly questioned here on why they believe that they will be moved out.
“All communication on this has been unofficial.”
4 1/2 years ago Charlie Scharf warned Oriskany workers that Oriskany would be closed within four years. Most all took the advice and found new jobs.
In four years you’ll be getting harassed here for making things up.
Very true.
Was told today my group will be going to 240 Greenwich by end of Q2 2024.
Yes all.
Announcement made this morning Q2 2024 office is closing. JC or NY will be assigned.
The whole building?
So something is happening, but everyone won’t be out the end of this month. What groups or what floors are impacted?
I was told relocation at least for my group may be March or April. Nothing firm though.
Going to agree with @2ktx+1pUFoXgq
We in Asset Servicing Engineering have been told verbally about moving out. All communication on this has been unofficial. Speaking with Pershing, tsg, treasury devices, etc none of them have been told anything. Something is happening, but the situation is clear as mud as to who needs to move out and by when
@1ypq+1pUFoXgq - Oriskany location was same and always known to be low cost and they just screwed all of us after remodeling the cafe and everything while we were out due to covid . They also owned our building . If you have what they consider lower headcount for that location they’ll close it. They’ve been doing that but we just weren’t aware. A few months ago it was Chicago and others . Yet they keep nyc and two buildings in PA in higher cost areas. Makes zero sense
Some people have not been told. Some are people have to go to. NYC or JC. But apparently some people will stay in WP as it’s maybe not a full sale. ‘Ask me anything ‘ except WP.
Any employees in WP that can confirm this? Everyone should’ve been notified by now.
Very low cost for that building - we own it -no lease & there are hundreds of employees there. I think closing it would require notification under the WARN Act.
Not surprised. They said buildings with smaller numbers of employees would be closing because it’s not worth the cost when nobody is in the buildings
Very funny. Not true
