When I first heard about second stickers being placed on new vechicles I really wasn't sure if I believed it or not. Today after I got off work I drove to two well known Ford Dealers in town to see for myself. Well sure enough the sc-mb bag greedy Ford Dealers have added second stickers with huge mark-ups on most their vehicles on their lots. At the second Ford Dealer I visited I saw a nice truck as I drove up. Got out of my truck to take a look see. Walked around the truck from the back and soon saw the second sticker with a $14,000 mark-up saying "Due to Market Demand". I walked towards the Dealer Showroom door and walked in. Saw about four Salespeople and the GM looking at me. I looked at all of them and pointed towards the truck outside with the $14,000 second sticker mark-up and said RIP OFF! loud enough for all of them to hear me. The GM started to walk towards me when I turned around heading for the door. Right before exiting I said Never going to buy a Ford Again! and walked out hopped in my truck and drove home.

I don't know about buying a KIA, but not buying another Ford after being SIRP'ed. My current cars are running fine, but will look at Toyota when the time comes for a replacement.
@1yqy+1lAaIprW lol I'm a female so no man card to give up. I knew they wouldn't bite on a sale, and I didn't intend to buy. BTW when neither of us wear pants, life is much more fun. I highly recommend it.

Besides the fact your wife wears the pants in the family. Did you flip off the Kia dealer salesman, as you should have after he told you the mumble jumble bs story about why his Kia dealership places second stickers on their cars????
You also sould like a total amateur. Dealers could care less if you say you will pay all cash. They probably will not offer you any deals with that line of thought. Dealers want you to finance your vechicle purchase preferably through them so they can stick it to you servicing the loan.
And lastly Kias absolutely suck. Who wants to be seen driving that junk.
Look, I don't trust buying a new Ford like most right now. But shopping for a kia?!? Dammn. Turn in your man card please.
GM has proven quality, go there or even a Chrysler.
My spouse was curious to see what other manufacturers were doing with markups since we won't be buying Ford anymore after the SIRP. The Kia dealer (in Florida) had $3-6k markups. We spoke with a salesperson who was very quick to defend it. Used car prices are coming down, dealer stock is coming up, so it's only a matter of time before the markups won't be tolerated. I wouldn't call it an argument, but we told him in no uncertain terms that if he wanted to sell a car, we would not be paying a markup. We were willing to pay cash and sign immediately but they wouldn't budge. Our choice is to wait until they discontinue the practice. A local Michigan Kia dealer has reduced their markup since we checked a couple months ago so it is progressing.
This sounds like a walter mitty story to me. My guess is the OP saw the sticker, put his chin on his chest and walked away. He went home and told his buddies that he torched those guys, and "its a good thing that they didnt lip off to me, cuz I woulda gone full-on terminator on them".
Anybody ever try to buy a mustang cobra years ago…yup dealer can sell to market demand and no A plan…shouldn’t be surprised dealers ask the same.
My father was going to order a lightning last year. Every single dealer he went to said they wouldn't accept A plan and if he ordered online, they would just cancel his reservation if he didn't pay their "service fees". I told him unfortunately A plan doesn't apply to Lightning, but he wasn't interested in dealing with Ford anymore after the rude dealerships.
To the OP. But did you give the sales people the finger? Asking for a friend...
If dummies going to buy at that price, they get what they deserve. People lost their minds buying cars at or above msrp…and you know what….the sales people laugh at you behind your back and in front of your face! D-mb azzes
Yeah sure tough guy, sure you did. If you have Aplan and order from the dealer, you an avoid all of this.
However got news got you; even at APlan prices many Fords aren’t worth it at any price.
