@1rwe+1p6A07os. Real gas prices? Gas should be no higher than 2.50 gallon. It is only higher because of bad government energy and foreign policy. But you are right, we will see the wisdom of electric cars as gas prices go higher. Do you really think EVs are intended to be a 1 to 1 substitute? All those people driving old cars and struggling to get by shouldn't worry about rising gas prices, Model E engineering has your back, LOL.

This wouldn't even be an issue if the governor subsidized electric cars asich as they subsidize gas and diesel. We've drained 90% of the strategic petroleum reserve to keep gas prices low. Maybe we'll see the wisdom of electric cars next year when the real gas prices are reached.

It never was. Just d-mb (Hackett) and d-mber (Farley) believed that stupidity. Of course, clueless woke Bill Ford didn't even ask if it was possible to do it. He just saw himself being greater than Ol' Henry, and how cool he would be in his fancy circle of green woke stupid friends, so he signed in the BEV dotted line.
Many employees tried to talk sense into "manglement", but we already know how it ended. All those Yes Men (LLs) marked these vocal employees as "not team players" and made sure these good employees were laid off ASAP.
So now FMC doesn't have a good EV program, and already lost their best ICE employees, thanks to those CEOs wrongly thinking they would never need ICE again. FMC has a very expensive line up, with a lot of holes (no sedans, no cheap starter vehicle), a lot of complexity in it and the lowest quality in this country, billions spended in the BEV money pit, a demoralized salaried force, a very demanding union workforce, while the world is facing high interest rates, high oil prices, and we may enter a global recession.
In other words, we are sinking like the Titanic and the self called "leadership" keeps rearraging the chairs in the deck. Doing the same sh-t and expecting a different outcome is so cluelessly stupid.
