I read a lot of posts here, and honestly wonder how many are actually from active employees. If you complaining on here, you are part of the problem at FMC, do everyone a favor and find another job with another company. You will be much happier. If your a troll, then adios loser, go find a job and be a productive human.

Be part of the solution! I love working on vehicle programs, every bit of it. Don't ever let the political cr-p sway your love of Engineering, Design, Studio development.

@OP When you’ve come through a bad time, to tell of it takes the thorn out.
If you are unable to see the rampant problems @ FMC, respectfully, you are likely the problem.

I have found that the people at Ford that spew that rhetoric are the ones who have installed themselves in “supporting roles” where they can take credit for others work while having no real responsibilities and doing no real work.

Fords has way too many people in “supporting roles”. Our department is 15% contributing workers. 85% “supporting roles” cough space wasting cheerleaders cough

And yes @OP we all realize Ford is an “Applause Only” culture. The Echo chamber of Applause has lead to the worst quality in our history, continual botched launches, initiative failures and costly overruns. Keep on applauding and supporting

Come on OP, you cant really be that naive, can you? Most rational people know what the right direction is, but if you point out the obvious, you are labeled "non team player". So what is the right direction? Well, #1 dont put all your eggs in 1 basket like this EV noise until you have perfected the technology and infrastructure. #2 Dont abandon your bread and butter until you have established #1. I fought the good fight and lost. The lesson is; state your opinion once and then let it go. Otherwise, you are shooting yourself in the foot. There is no option to "be part of the solution" if the leadership has already made up its mind to do the wrong thing.

OP+1oQs0DE9. I did leave. To be truthful I did not see realistic vision or plan from both senior and middle management.
Instead I see waste of money on things like the train station all because Bill wants to leave a legacy. Too bad he does not spend his own money vs company funds.
Second reason I left was the political BS they spew. Sorry I don't care about your views Bill. You should just keep your mouth shut and go run the Lions.

In looking over the balance sheets of the company.. if they last 10yrs I would be surprised. DEBT is pretty high and the fact the EV business relies on subsidies and government loans to help finance is a concern.

OP here.....many years of experience and literally supported every vehicle program in an Engineering and Design role. I know this company and the people, most of you clearly do not. I would not want any of you negative people on my team. If you truly have suggestions to enable the company to move in a more productive manner, please speak up to your Leadership as much as possible. Lead by example! Not going to find any pillows to cry on here...be a positive part of the solution or be happy somewhere else!

I’ve been at Ford over 2 years and I absolutely love my job and everyone I work with. They are all brilliant at what they do and work hard. I don’t understand the hate on this page. The company is an American icon, has some of the best benefits in the country, and some of the kindest humans I’ve ever known work here. If you were an employee here for 30 years, it was time to retire anyway. Having a personal vendetta is ridiculous. The rest of you clearly need to find hobbies instead of posting nonstop hate for the company that puts food in your table. If it’s so bad, you’d find another job. But you don’t because either you know it’s a great place to work or you have no marketable skills.

F you, OP. I was a real Ford employee for 30 years.. I drank the kool aid, had top performance reviews, generated millions in profits tot the company. only to be “F”ed in the end and let go with out a thank you.

I now make it my personal vendetta against Ford costings the company as much as I can. I cannot wait for Ford to go out of business.

You all are considered as a number at Ford. Ford will get rid of you when they don't need you any more. The company morale is a big problem for many years. There is no innovation at Ford. Engineers hire outside engineers to do their job. It's pathetic to call themselves engineers when they can't do the work.

Ford is the problem, and not many things can hold it accountable, or change its behavior.
solutions will be a waste in Ford, just like you cannot work in good faith in the land of Soviet. They are not to eliminate the problems, they eliminate YOU!
