No doubt another ANZ harebrained restructure, and undertaken with the usual insensitivity for those laid off.
Massive layoff in tax & acc across australia and nz. basically all teams being aligned with legal, corporates and t&a to act as one. most of the bdm's given marching orders or moved to other teams. seems to be some age-sim if you ask me.

ProLaw support has been gutted and anyone left is on borrowed time. They're outsourcing the entire team.
Tax Professionals is being impacted exactly how you mention, Small-Mid has been a catch all and it could be argued was overstaffed in some areas due to the reorg from 2 years ago. Large was floundering under its prior leader who left to take on some other assignment within TR, so some natural shifting will occur. The 3rd Segment (Emerging) may not still be around, they were rolling up into Small-Mid last I heard.
Any updates on tax & accounting? I heard that one of the general managers, K-Nich, announced on Tuesday that there would be layoffs and territory realignments in small-mid and large segments in tax and accounting professionals.
