After ten years, it's time for me to move on. I got a new job I'll be starting in August, but I'll take a couple of weeks off first. I enjoyed my work at Dell. It was a good run and I will remember my years here fondly. It was not perfect, but for me, it was good enough. To all my coworkers, I wish you all the best. I will miss you!

as long as the women and minorities are qualified to do the job, I'm fine with it. I think most people are and wouldn't argue that point. The issue is hiring categories of people just to satisfy a goal with no regard to whether or not they can actually do the job. If you put your customer hat on, as you've been a customer yourself, you want to be serviced by people that can do the job. There's a difference between advertising that you're being diverse and pi-ping it out on social media, but when push comes to shove, the people need to be able to do the job no matter what the package is.
All those who are scared of the 2030 moonshot goals: you guys sound like a bunch of white male incels ready to storm the capitol. So threatened by the idea of women and minorities working next to you, or Dell using sustainable technology to destroy this planet a little less. Pathetic. I bet this post will get -200 score before noon today. What a bunch of losers.
Some Dell fanboys have pa----s in wad.
Why does this post have so much upvote/downvote activity lol? Was this an executive?

There is a rumor in another rumor-related website that this post was from one of M.D.'s honchos.
Dell announcing its Environmental, Social and Governance or ESG strategy.
The woke agenda/project moonshot which is causing so many talented people to leave the company.
When all the focus is on an inclusive agenda and not the actual products and people this will most likely continue.

It’s pathetic the HR trolls lurking this one. Can’t handle truth.
There are few good men in HR..
Wishing coworkers all the best etc anonymously is a joke. If it was heartfelt, a handshake or personal farewell would have meant something. Back in your little box, troll.

Most likely it’s an HR drone trolling the online posts I see on Glassdoor there appear to be quite a few positive generic posts saying that the company is great . Anyone that works there knows it is not great at all.
If the post @2fij+1hBTZ0v3 has put up was a real genuine comment and they are so happy then why be on a layoff site?
I call bu-----t.
HR team are busy the last few months putting a positive spin on a dying company with unhappy staff.
I couldn’t believe what I was reading when read Moonshot goals. Did they consult Al Sharpton LOL? White man bad women & minorities are the future. What woke racist bunch at Dell.
Can’t disagree. Meanwhile, the haters who may have made unsuccessful career choices, or who are simply unhappy with their situation, continue to give this post thumbs-downs. Sad.
Stay. Go. Make a change. Whatever. But don’t bring others down.
It’s up to you, after all.
Good move especially if white male. Dells racist Moonshot 2030 goals only want minorities and women they’ve made that perfectly clear.
It's mostly personal reasons. I felt like I was stagnating in both my career and my skills, and I wanted to change that. Doing that outside of Dell seemed like the easier path.
Thanks for posting! Kind of nice to see a non-disgruntled employee/former employee post here about there experience. Best of luck with your new job. Would you care to share additional insight into your reason for moving on?
