Working together

Laughable propaganda around working together

No matter how many times reiterate their talking points & say how great & necessary it is to collaborate in person doesn’t make it true. I don’t have a single meeting yesterday, today , or tomorrow with anyone in my same location.
They say it over & over as a form of brainwashing…. Sad thing is, it works in some instances as I hear some regurgitating the propaganda.

@2jrv

Thank you, and you are correct. I’m always so gratified to see our associates pointing out grammar, misuse of words and tortured sentence structure. I was a lone voice on here this forum for years but my efforts have had an impact for those who struggled through 7th and 8th grade English.

Forcing us in for “collaboration “ is a good excuse for higher ups to go in and see their side whorzes. most don’t know what any process is under them yet they think they know what’s best. Just tell ur significant other you’re cheating and let the rest of us move on with our days

No overly sure what lala land the higher ups here are living in, but clearly us peasants are not valued here at BNYM. RTO isnt really the issue, for me anyways. It's the hypocritical b.s. thats coming along with it.
Zero reembursment for tolls, mialiage or gas. Still hiring for fully remote positions. I've been in office and literally spoken to no one. Been successfully WFH for past few year with no burden falling upon BNYM. The closed my office (E. Syracuse) with next to no notice, and now expected to drive over an hour to the middle of nowhere (Oriskany). I wont be as willing to do the OT, do I really want to after driving? I require OT just to barely make ends meet. Ah let not forget the pathetic pay.
Time to look elsewhere honestly. Despite the hypocritical B.S. Bnym trys to shove down our throats, their actions show they do not value their employees!

Starting the first week of May they will actually have a HR team statistically monitoring attendance for a 90 day period and the non compliers will be terminated in the week after Labor Day as a show of force

@1zuz, you're confusing irony with hypocrisy.

Back in office 3 days a week working 9-5. Great news, that means that I won't be working extra hours each day but will be commuting instead. Thanks BNY

The ironic thing was that JB sent that email to Treasury Services...and she's full time WFH. Look it up in the directory.

I picture her laughing maniacally as she pressed that send button.

They should put their money where their mouth is and do town halls on site.

Agree, but who knows… This might be the garbage being taught in college nowadays

Would love it if the prestigious schools that graduated these folks were to come observe them for a week.

I think they’d have to question their curricula and/or the ability for their students to absorb even the basics.
