Are dls really firing store managers for not selling enough carepass?

Two things you need to understand:
Employment-at-will. You can leave anytime and the can terminate you at any time with or without cause
Arbitration agreement - You agree to it when you are hired. You waived your right to bring a lawsuit to the court.
I agree with you that this is all nonsense, but you will never win this fight. The will not terminate you for not selling CarePass. It will be failure to lead and inspire your team. It’s wordsmith. In the end, if they want you gone, you’re gone no matter how unfair it is to normal thinking people like us.
Good luck with that. I hope they understand they’ll face an onslaught of lawsuits if they continue to threaten and hold managers accountable for something that cannot be forced upon customers. Watch them crumble once the attorneys come calling.
Had the most uncomfortable conversation of my career last week all about Carepass. I'm succeeding in every other aspect. It was made clear if I can't close the Carepass gap, I'm not going to be around. It's disgusting.
Yes, I know of two. The DL was getting rid of the "senior" managers for failure to meet supervisor's expectations. Both did get unemployment and now are with a big box grocery store and are very happy. I will be starting at the same chain on March 20th.
In the beginning a lot of customers signed up for CarePass. Recently it is very hard to sign up customers as they are tired of being asked by staff and management.
Yes you can, but not solely carepass. Usually need something else with it like service or cfr.
The below comment, know SMs fired regardless of “asking” because idea is to hire employees that can sell it
Haven't heard of any , not sure it would get by advise and council, just make sure your team is asking that is all you can really. Cannot make the customer buy something they do not want.
