Previous CHRO Tamla allegedly left the company because she needed to focus on what is most important, her well-being, her family, and her faith. I guess she determined that none of those things were really very important, as she now serves on Boards and just accepted a CEO position. In some ways, you have to respect how she used Wayne. She came in β€œHOT,” trashed the place, then grabbed bags of cash on her way out the door!

Wait… wait.. WAIT!
I thought everyone knew that Tamla was hired to do just what she did and leave. Wayne (AKA the puppet master) hired her to do what HE wanted done to employees. THIS WAS PREARRANGED! It was PREPLANNED. You all need to pay closer attention. This was all outlined in her post employment contract. Ask Joel… he was brought in OUT OF RETIREMENT for about 18 to 24 months too. Wanna know who next?

I thought severance was capped at one year per regulations. How did TOF get an exception for two years severance with benefits? Sounds like another fine waiting to happen.

Yes dear responder below, Andrew's position was eliminated as CAO EC and combined into the CIO EC (Amala's role vs the old CIO role when it was Mike B). Andrew was fired and then quickly got a new job after "leaving to focus on his health" - sound familiar?

TOF knew what she was doing. Destroyed employee benefits and wrecked HR. Followed the Peacocks plan as stated and was rewarded. USAA has her on the books with benefits for two years as a reward for a job well done. Before you start the no way post, this is known throughout HR and she is bragging about it.

Or maybe wanted work flexibility - jobs look like they are all remote. It’s without question USAA is a very stressful place to work hence the thousands of pages of complaints on this site about mental health and work conditions there.
