Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse and that there should be some positive changes at Dell, this company proves me wrong and continues nose diving.
How long will it be down before it gets any better? Or will it never get better?
I'm only here because it's not easy to find a new opportunity right now.

ex-cellent post
@2uyw+1m45Ffgv You don't need to keep referring to people as ex laid off. They've been laid off. Ex laid off would suggest they've been rehired.
I just got 8% salary increase and $50k LTI
These in IC positions which are not essential personal may feel neglected while some others feel pretty good here.
Job - senior sales exec
ex laid off always obsessed with HR
@2agl+1m45Ffgv
Must be a slow day in HR
love how all the ex laid off gets in an uproar when you point them out.
scream moar.
ps only a douche uses the word edgy
@2plz+1m45Ffgv I agree.Trolls every post.Its like a senior manager or someone downplaying how bad it is at Dell at the moment.
I can’t wait for the Tell Dell results this year.
@2kow+1m45Ffgv
Does this guy just spam every post here with the same comment? Copy paste the same downvoted edgy bs over and over and think “maybe THIS time someone will think I’m being cool or insightful”?
@2qfc+1m45Ffgv
In the post , It is stated that “ lead with APEX and a competitor now owns the core APEX product.
Did Dell sell the APEX intellectual property and technology to a Partner or as they have with other products to HCL?
"Lol"?
I take it back, you're destined for the top.
LoL. Laid off and hanging out in this forum is not winning by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm left go and I'm here. You're still there and you're here. That's definitely going to be a slow goodbye.
Maybe my time will come.
But I know I won't wallow and rot in this forum shaking my fist at the sky.
I will let go and move on unlike you.
Don't worry @2kow+1m45Ffgv your time will come
I think the echos of the laid off past permeates these corridors.
Time to let go and move on people.
If you're young and have talent then get out while you can. Ignore the promises. It will all slowly be eroded away. Dell's strategy is to lead with APEX and a competitor now owns the core APEX product. Nice work guys.
I don’t see things improving. Look at the flood of talent at all levels that voluntarily left in the last few years, they know what was up.
Dell’s best days are behind them because all of the inspiring leaders with good hearts are long gone and the leadership left are all corrupt clowns who think their fancy MBA means they don’t have to listen to anyone else.
They should offer voluntary severance at this point.
There are some people who have survived the cut who clearly do not want to work here but clearly will not leave.
Work has ground to a halt in places.
Very little opportunities inside Dell now. I put my life on hold for the company for a long time but I plan to quietly quit now as I have seen many excellent associates get sent on their way and there was no sense in some of those decisions. I am now focusing entirely on upskilling now.
Ge-z Dell does have a lot of whiney Adults and Trans
A lot of robots like you also.
Oh good I'm not the only one

Kinda sad that each morning I login I’m looking for the “business update” message.
probably not a good decision to leave really. I know from a tech perspective, the job market has dwindled. I used to get a ton of emails, calls from recruiters but have noticed a downtick in the number of emails and calls. Looks like tech jobs have dried up for a bit. Hopefully, they'll be a bo-m in the future.
ex laid off dell always obsessed with HR
People are being encouraged to leave by the HR trolls on here so the company doesn't need to pay WFR severence deal. Anyone here longer than 5 years is making a mistake leaving without it.
As a millennial who graduated in 2008, this isn't bad - it's just another day. Keep ya head up and have a nice walk on me.
I agree. The tension brings out the worse in people. I've had more HR related conversations in the last month then ever before. Everything being put on hold through end of first half makes folks (myself included) overly anxious. I am trying to focus on what I can control and customers but it's definitely weighing on me. the worse part is I don't think there is anything I can do to increase my chances to stay employed. I don't think personal quota achievement, ratings on voice of the field or anything else can help solidify positions at this point.
I feel ya. I've only been here for 3 years but am being severely underpaid. HOWEVER, my manager, those I work with on a daily basis, and the freedom I have outweighs starting over with a higher payijng job tbh
I think you have to define what you mean by "getting better."
Are you unhappy with your role's scope and the work? Your leader? Workload? Toxic culture? The answer to your question depends.
