The process of letting you go starts almost a month before you are actually notified. When you receive the link in your email to access the separation documents, you will see when those documents were created. I was let go in mid-June and my separation documents were created before Memorial Day! I came in everyday as a professional, and those toe-tappin' backstabbing liars who managed the team smiled in my face, knowing full well they were letting me go. HR is a joke. The token black women who heads HR should be ashamed but I understand. Her family got to eat too.

@dze

Nobody has received emails as the vendor which HE uses is unable to send SUB plan emails. Amazingly the unbroken string of Human Resource failures continues to this day.

That email should have been sent yesterday. Very unprofessional to make people wait. Still waiting as of 7:30pm.

Our Human Resources are incompetent in normal times. In a layoff it’s far worse. But the big picture is that you’re actually treated better in a layoff than retirees are treated from the standpoint of each and every benefit.

HR is simply out of practice. It’s been a long time since the last significant layoff, which was by Charlie Scharf in August 2018. These two 1% reductions are only practice to get back into the groove.

Ridiculous that we are still waiting to receive information a day after being notified. HR was fully aware that this was coming. We should have received information immediately upon notice.
