Scott needs EVs to fail. He's a mechanic, and EVs have way fewer parts to break. Even the mainstay of repair shop ripoffs, the extra services offered at oil change, don't apply to an EV.

He things am old toyota is the best car for everyone but never addresses the fact that these are totaled regularly when the cadalytic converter is stolen. The platinum in those is always worth more than the car! E are taking about thousands of dollars here, for material minded by children in Africa.
Blows my mind than people would but a car that can be totaled in a few minutes by cutting a pipe underneath it.

Now dealers who were bullish on the EV push are now feeling the pinch. The others who were skeptical of the EV push are better off, but they too are sitting on a boat load of ICE inventory (mostly 23MY vehicles)…
