You missed the update in another thread. It is now October. The layoffs are tied to after LD1.

SVPs in Texas don’t do anything. Get rid of them first.

I just want to throw this out there, even if it may be controversial, that the layoffs could also happen in November. Allegedly.

Yeah mate, maybe you should learn some grammar first, before giving English lessons. And I don't think here is your "mate". No, it's LD1 fool. It has always been LD1. Learn to read. Learn to comprehend. Learn to use critical thinking skills. Ok mate?

Right... Maybe you should learn to write fully formed sentences and keep a straight story before whining about the comprehension skills of others mate. LD1? I thought it was Covid? No wait it was the revenue loss from interest rates right? No wait it's a restructure? It's so hard to keep track when you make something else up each month. We should all trust you though because you "have the list of names", as if the company sends out a handy flier of everyone being let go to any sod in management, and you know a couple of buzzwords so it must be real.

Here's what will happen. October will pass with no disruptions and you'll have another s#@t excuse about how these layoffs have now moved to November followed by some childish, broken English insults towards anyone smart enough to realize you're an id–t.

Breaking news everyone. Justice RBG has died. Not to be confused with the Notorious RBG. For yous dawgs out there, aye. This is Justice RBG - Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Word dup aye. Lets show some respect to RBG, and not carry on with foolishness on this thread.

I say again. Word dup aye. Calling all homes to stand, united as one, but divided as we fall.

The original qualified premise of 9/22 being the date, is based on LD1 happening in 1st week of September. The field has now changed, with LD1 looking to happen in the first week of October. Hence the new date is sometime before end of October.

Maybe you should learn to read, increase your comprehension ability, and then practice your critical thinking skills before spewing out garbage from your mouth. You sound like a good candidate to be cut in October.

@2xhb+16YhSh5H You're full of garbage.

"Layoffs guaranteed in May! No wait June! No July! No August! No September! No October! I have proof! My proof makes no sense and I keep contradicting myself and changing my story but it's real I swear!"

At this rate if you keep picking months you're bound to be right eventually. For everyone else, don't form any conjectures based on the troll.

9/22 is confirmed NOT to be it. This will probably be sometime in before the end of October. Remember, the planning is tied to Legal Day 1 happening in the first week of September. It now looks like that will happen first week of October, getting full clearance from regulators. So the timeline has been essentially pushed out by a month.

Tim H. was hired during the dot com era. He is now our CTO. He is not dead weight. Strategic, true leader. The guy can still compile and code. Not all leaders are the same. You may be referring to some MDs that has a degree in underwater basket weaving, that are there because of their leadership skills but can't tell the difference between a container, process, local storage, and why we need microservices.

Lot of managers are so clueless and are there because their head is up there. people get promoted because of who they know and their chronie friends. Totally incompetent managers buddy system

In all seriousness, Schwab does have lots of mangers who got hired in the dot com era and are making nice bank along with sabbaticals and all the vacation and sick time and aren’t really contributing much these days except for buzzwords and PowerPoints. They’ll be there for life. Some got the boot last year, but probably not enough, it’s a really hard company to move up in.

Let’s take that one offline. We can set up a separate meeting to discuss.

It's not happening. Everyone who says it is happening is a rebel spy from Fidelity trying to infiltrate our systems and destroy us from the inside.

Layoffs will happen next year after TD deal settles.

Hope there are layoffs.

No offense, but this company has literally thousands of middle managers providing zero value and basically stealing money from company and shareholders by collecting a salary.

All they do is sit in webex meetings all day talking about what to talk about in next weeks webex meeting. Its an embarassment.

Could reduce workforce by 20% and probably see productivity and eps rise by just getting rid of all the managers.

But its the managers who make the decisions. Company has gone downhill so badly over last 3 years. Stop listening to consulting firms and stick with what got you here (excellent customer service and good values).

Lots of stupid stuff in the replies. But, it is the one year anniversary and layoffs on 9/22 means that those affected are off the payroll by end of year.

I have some cement info. It’s not exactly concrete. Yet. But give it time and that cement info transforms into concrete info. That’s the best I can do right now.
