Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Truist better than Wells Fargo?

I am considering jumping to Truist. Any bad, or good experience compared to Wells.
I see quite a few people jumping ship to join them. I cross posted this question to compare responses.

@2xiv+1vdr3ePd This makes a lot of sense. Would be tough to go in to a new organization and get ganged up on like that, that’s for sure.

IF a toxic manager leaves, they go to Truist. Bad place

Same s**t, different brand. Plus they are less mature than Wells and there is an us vs them mentality of SunTrust vs BB&T and small bank heritage employees vs incoming employees with big bank experience. I got a pay raise going from Wells to Truist and enjoyed generous vacation. But I had same level of stress, poor management and then got RIF’d. So, the grass isn’t always greener.

Pay 20% less, limited PTO and they only match 4% in the 401k. Oh, and in the office 4 days a week heading to 5. No thank you.

I worked there. Started at Wells in the spring. Salaries are lower there and the issues are similar. Wells isn’t great, but I don’t regret leaving. I got a $20k raise by coming here.

given all the execs that have come to WF from there I'd say probably not the greatest.
